Greetings from my local airport, where the air smells of paint and dust -- and actually also of soft pretzels in this particular spot -- and the wifi is utter crap. We're about to start boarding so I'm just gonna put everything in this post, and anon, if you read this, I'll get to you in a bit.
enterprising-gentleman said: Same here! :D It’s good to be home.
Hooray! :D It is good to be home. Or in my case, was. Will be. Uh, it's good to be out of school, how about that. XD I hope you're enjoying your first day!!
azvolrien said: Have fun! (We didn’t get an autumn break. :|)
Oh no! D: I am sorry for your loss. I mean, to be honest I'm not sure why we get one either, but I am definitely not going to complain. XD Thanks though! I think it'll be a good time. :)

Aaaah that's lovely! ^^

Oooh, I like it!
<3 thank you lovelies ^-^
enterprising-gentleman said: Wishing you a swift return of illumination, then!
azvolrien said: Well, at least you’re the right way up. Maybe a nap will help.
The nap did help. Belated thanks to you both. C:
enterprising-gentleman said: It’s an amazing ending, isn’t it? (and the song the turrets play is also quite lovely—hopefully you can listen to it soon, technology permitting).
It really is very lovely. I -- ah. So many feels.
I did listen to it afterward! My roomie left and I put it on then. It was very lovely -- surprisingly operatic, and I had no idea the turrets were capable of such harmonic noises. Whoever put that in their program did a good day's work. XD
enterprising-gentleman said: Wishing you all the best! And I’ve just about brought this thing in for a landing now, except that I’m not at all sure how to cite Shakespeare quotes in a way that’s actually helpful AND MLA-compliant…
Bringing a paper in for a landing is the best metaphor I've heard all week. Maybe it's a paper airplane? :D Hope you figured out the citations! Those can be tricky.
Thanks for wishing me luck! I am going to need it.
enterprising-gentleman said: I’m not sure if mine are technically midterms, but at any rate, I’ve got a Shakespeare essay to finish up and a short story scene to write. I’m an awful procrastinator, but I’m finally making decent progress…
I've got an essay to write on misogyny in medieval literature. I wouldn't mind this so much, but the prompts are awful. And I've been working hard all weekend and it's late and I just want to go to bed... Ugh.
Procrastination is the worst, isn't it? Even in being busy all weekend I've been procrastinating for this essay and now I am regretting it. :P It's good that you're making progress, though! I hope it continues to go well for you. :)
enterprising-gentleman said: (joins in if no one minds because seriously, is /everyone/ battling an essay tonight?)
*hisses* midterms
(Not in the least! *includes in group hug* The essay flu is a devastating one.)
