For those who have a problem with me becoming more publicly outspoken. I do a lot of my thinking with earbuds in and music blasting. Dutch rock band Within Temptation has always been known for being outspoken and became the most outspoken with their last album, Resist. Their latest single, Entertain You, is very in your face about the way our lives have become. The lyrics are straight forward to the point I changed the pinned song on my profile. I’ve dealt with people spying on me for people I’ve cut out of my life and making a mockery out of me because I’ve always been very outspoken about my thoughts and opinions. Now those on the side of what’s right where morals are concerned have something to say about it with a song to go with it - “Go to hell, I’m not here to entertain you.” This song says a lot right now. It says what I don’t have to because those of you who have a problem with what myself and those I’m standing with are saying - it seems you are standing on the other side of a moral line we have a problem with. And it is true that we are the resistance, the rebellion. We are here to stand against anyone who we feel is wrong. But the words in this song do say it all for me. You can deny the truth with every breath but it won’t stop me and those that stand with me. As long as there is one of us we still have something to fight for and we still have hope. So you can all go to hell because we’re not here to entertain you.
