There is a cold lingering presence that appears whenever I am sad (or worse) and seems to either seems to get stronger with my negative emotions... Sometimes it takes over and I can't filter my thoughts anymore before saying them out loud kind of like a shift of which I am aware having but unable to do anything against. Could it be another headmate? Or a ghost, demon it something alike? How can I get rid of it? Should I get to know it? I have no idea what to do...

I delved pretty immediately into direct channeling, so…

I see the presence behind you, and visually the closest thing I can compare this presence to is what a Dementor from the Harry Potter franchise would look like. I just keep seeing these long skeletal-like fingers, I feel the cold / chill of the energy this Entity emits, and all I see are muted whites, greys, and the black swirling of shadows that make up the robes / hood.
Also fog. Lots of fog.
I ask the Entity where you may have picked them up from and they show me a graveyard on an isolated country road. “Back roads” they say. And “You were on a trip”, they also say.
They tell me “You looked lonely”.
I’m not sure if any of that is resonating with you, it’s just what is immediately coming through.
I then ask what this Entity identifies as, and it says “A Spectre”.
The only spectres I know of, also remind me of harbingers, so I ask if they are kind of like that - and they give me the sense of a “sort of” answer.
So then I feel an urging from Spirit to do a quick Google on the term “spectre” in relation to ghostly activity… just give me a moment…

So I found a definition that resonated with me and Spirit seemed to agree about. Here it is, quoted, pulled from [ this site ]* (mainly an opinion submitted in answer to a similar question):

Okay so this isn’t a demon. Not in the perceived “traditional sense” of the word. It’s basically a ghost, but not necessarily an Earthbound Spirit. And perhaps a ghost that may have been human at one point but no longer identifies as human.
I wouldn’t recommend delving too deep, the deeper I connect the more cold (physically) I feel and also I am starting to feel absolutely exhausted channeling this energy - so I suspect there may be some energy vampirism / soul-sucking going on (just like the H.P. world Dementors, in fact).
So when I reach past this Entity to your Spirit Guides, I get told and shown that you should protect yourself right now, reenforce energetic protection around your aura-field, and then I see salt. Tons and tons of salt. Pieces of himalayan salt, dead sea salt, epsom salt, basically whatever you have on hand.
I ask Spirit why you need the salt, and Spirit says “Because you need to cleanse the sh*t out of yourself and your energy fields”.
Now that was a bit rough around the edges, but certainly to the point.
Your negative thoughts & words, by the way, Spirit has told me they are symptoms of the energy vampirism that is going on. As soon as you cleanse and create stronger protection, those thoughts and words may start to clear up on their own.
Also. Have some words with your Spirit Guides, ask them to aid in banishing / getting rid of this entity. Not in a harmful way, just in a:
“Move it along, Nothing to See here” kind of way.

When I see this entity I keep seeing this wide mouth actually, that keeps opening and closing like a fish - but there’s this silent scream almost and shock.
As soon as I type that I get a flash of surprise in the eyes, a very human look, and what I feel is affirmation / validation of what I am receiving. I believe this entity wants to communicate with / through me via my Clairaudience (words), so I’m going to give that a try. Take a deep breath for me please dear. …

* This is where I see the entity in visions, peeking around corners and always keeping track of you even when you were very young - say 3 or 4 years old *
“You have something that interests me. There’s something inside”
* So now I am seeing you holding something really bright, an orb, but I keep feeling that this is symbolic of what the entity meant. And I just *know* the entity is referring to your soul or a piece / part of your soul with this light-orb reference *

More like after the age of 8 to 10 years old. You may not know what you were doing, but in a way you may have given permission for this entity to follow you. *

“Ask one of us to come and take this entity. They do not belong here. You know that. We need your help to get them (the entity) to let go and move on (travel to where they belong). When they follow you it distracts you from connecting more deeply to us. That’s why you’re feeling blocked right now in the 3rd eye and spiritually. We’re not so far away from you, but this entity is getting in the middle / in the way of us communicating directly to you. That’s why we’re sending you signs instead.”
*here I visually see a white bird and then numbers repeating - so if you see / receive a white bird & / or repeating number sequences, those signs are coming forward from your guides*
So the message cuts off again and I get a signal from my guides to wrap up the channelling (they sometimes do this to help preserve my energy / maintain healthy channeling well within my highest good / vibration).
I took the time to type up my “behind the scenes” channelling for your benefit as I feel you can learn from what I’ve just done. Normally all of that stuff that happened before, well that happens in my head / in my own energy, and I instead paraphrase or communicate the Cliff’s Notes version of what’s going on. And so… here is the summation of what’s happened:
What Does this all Mean?
Based on what Spirit showed / told me, I believe you possess Mediumship & Psychic abilities / gifts that have, for some reason, attracted this entity to you. This entity seems to be seeking help of some kind, but doesn’t actually want you to do much of anything (yet) other than allowing them to remain semi-attached within your aura-field.
I don’t get a sense of long-term, negative implications about this HOWEVER I feel that you are so sensitive to energies that any form of attachment (whether within the spiritual or not) can make you feel physically uncomfortable. It’s your energy, your body, and your space, so ultimately you get to decide what energies reside there (or not).
That is why, I believe, Spirit has suggested that you do something to get this entity to move on.
I’m not sure why this entity chose to appear as it does.
Horror movie aesthetic / cliches?
It’s really super lame, to be honest.
It drives me nuts when entities play into pop culture / societal references.
Know though, that this entity doesn’t really look how it’s appearing, it’s just trying to get a rise from you and attention. Spirit also encourages you to do more research about energetic / spiritual protection and banishing. That’s what I feel needs to happen here.

I also hope that this post helps to make things a little less scary. I, personally, would be a whole heck of a lot more concerned if this entity didn’t come through all concerned that you were afraid.
And just so you know, I invited our Spirit Guides / Spiritual Allies forward because I often will use their energies as “spiritual / entity lie-detectors”. Because I’ve done this, they have given me affirmation / validation that we can trust some of what the entity has said.
As a rule of thumb - I NEVER automatically trust what entities (that I do not recognize as Spirit Guides) communicate. Not to be mean. Just to be pro-active in energetic safety.
But that being said - it’s best for your energy that this entity get packing.
