Our first IN ORDER (I have done others) Ornithischian! Yay!!! A basal Ornithischian, it lived about 210 million years ago in the Norian age of the Late Triassic. It was found in the Lower Elliot Formation, South Africa. It is one of the best preserved basal Ornithischians known, with limbs, vertebrae, parts of the skull, and lower jaw preserved. It was about 1 meter long, and had the general body shape of early dinosaurs: bipedal, lightly built runner. Like primitive ornithischians, it had a smaller neck and triangular teeth like that of an iguana, allowing it to be at least partly herbivorous. It was slightly more derived, however, than Pisanosaurus.
