Across The Void : A Critical Analysis.
The Characters' design including MCs, LIs and other characters are not just unique but beautiful.
The Backgrounds were great too.
The soundtrack is phenomenal also it's moving.
The overall art is fabulous. Kudos to the art team.
The pacing of the story is ludicrous. In the first few chapters it's very slow, in the middle the writers lost track of what they were writing, in the last few chapters a lot of info and plotlines are all thrown in suddenly making the whole thing absurd.
The story isn't consistent in the slightest.
The MC is very rude to her siblings since the very beginning and I don't get why. I get it Pax was a little difficult but Eos was such an awesome brother.
The several LIs- for MC, Eos and Pax was another factor that ruined the storyline and made it absolutely extra and confusing.
There are too many characters and writers couldn't handle them properly.
The whole main conflict of Jura and Vanguard is paywalled, so you don't even know what's happening and why the intergalactic conflict is occuring, unless you pay diamonds.
The siblings are playable characters all throughout the story and have their own LIs too but this wasn't handled well.
All LIs are paywalled be it MCs or siblings', so none of the LIs don't have any personalities if you don't pay diamonds on them.
A lot of important portion of the plot is all paywalled so again there is no story actually offered if you don't spend diamonds.
That's ridiculous ain't it, but lemme tell you that several characters of the story including your LIs, your siblings' LIs and your friends basically die if you don't spend diamonds.
Basically everything is paywalled and there's little to no plot otherwise.
The story seems interesting initially but its just being dragged in the later chapters and you may feel like it should end already.
Your choices do matter but in a worse way, like if you don't befriend somebody and help them, they'll become your enemy and would kill your friend.
The ending is bad, really bad, pay diamonds or all die and you can cry.
It was sure an ambitious project like Blades on Pb's part but they butchered the whole concept and this book with such a unique setup and great potential became a flop show.
They experimented by making the siblings playable characters and by giving them multiple LIs too, but it made the story much more confusing, also what was the point of giving them LIs if they eventually had to die if you don't spend diamonds to save them.
This was a great concept that was ridiculed and knowing pb they could've done way better than this but they didn't.
As the negatives outnumber the positives this is a story you shouldn't have high expectations from but it is surely worth a read for it's concept and awesome art. It's not that bad but ain't good either. If you can spend many diamonds on it, it might make your experience better.
I'll call this story a cash grab to be honest.
These are my opinions, no offence to anyone who disagrees or feels otherwise.
