some random thoughts from recent one piece episodes I watched:
I wonder if Nami looks at Hachi being parental or at least avuncular to Camie and wonders why he never saw a little girl in her when he was working under Arlong.
Franky calling Nami 'girl' while calling Robin by her name, aah my Frobin heart.
obsession with Zoro continues, he truly is so clueless. For two seconds I shipped him with Jewelry.
I really thought Duval was going to be that Navy guy that Sanji beat up at/outside Baratie before he joined the crew.
Law is here!!!! I have seen him in fan arts so much, so I am excited but Kid??? Okay babe
shakky and 'her man' give me some Zonami grew old together vibes idk man don't come at me
One Piece makes me feel like a kid sometimes with the sense of adventure and excitement for the unknown. But also it is truly a well-rounded reflection of our world I would say unlike some other shows where things like discrimination seem more of plot devices. Also, after watching Naruto with its pro government agenda it's refreshing to watch something more nuanced but mostly pro-pirate because we are following luffy after all.
