Haunted by Taylor Swift is such a perfect song for chenford in 5x02, I'm losing my mind. I mean.. season 5 is not nice to Katherine in general, but this was a good episode for her. some iconic lines ("Actually, I'm much prettier [than Elena]."/"Those blue eyes. They made me soft. I should have ripped your head off when I had the chance."/"I'm the freaking moonstone!"/"I need to pee. Like, in a bathroom. Like a lady."/"When I cough, it's green."), more iconic facial expressions, some more personality and character development (being genuinly bewildered by Jeremy giving her a blanket, going back to help Matt), and still all the bitchiness and style and sarcasm 🥰❤
okay I already knew that out of all the characters in the show I'm most like Alex, but her teaching her high school class because their teacher is incompetent is just too many similarities for this Sunday evening
5 mins in this episode of Leverage and all I want to do is turn it off and watch Elementary instead. it's their fault for mentioning post concussion syndrome and stealing the Stanley Cup. you can't just throw those in there and expect me not to think of Elementary
I don't know how I'll get through next week's The Resident, considering that even just this last scene in 5x02 killed me 🙃
I think he’s [Oliver] done it [train others] in the past very reluctantly. Even when he took on Sara and Roy, it was never something I think he willingly did. especially since, when he came back to Starling City in the pilot, this was his mission. It started with his father, it was very personal, it was about his family and his legacy. So for him to bring someone else into this world, I think for him it feels … wrong, and it feels dangerous. It speaks to the reality of what he does on a day-to-day basis. One of the things we’re really excited about this season is evolving [Oliver’s] character. It’s not going to necessarily get easier for him, but it’s definitely … there’s a certain level of growth he takes on, and it’s a role that he’s going to grow into, in a positive way, throughout the season.

Go it alone, so no one can really love you. Without love there is no loss. Without loss there is no pain. There’s a freedom in that Oliver Queen didn’t shut off his emotions because he didn’t feel.
