I realize that people hate taxes, but I would be willing to pay a little extra so that epi-pens were government provided.

I finally have an Epi-Pen for my nut allergy!
For those of you who may not know, I am allergic to peanuts (or more specifically peanut butter) and I used to have an Epi-Pen throughout elementary school.
But when I became an adult and into college, I stopped getting my prescription because my insurance didn't cover all of it and it became too expensive to have.
While my allergy isn't as severe as others, the fact that I was too afraid to ask my doctor for an Epi-Pen in fear that it was too expensive for my parents or even myself to pay for, is insane.
Now, I would call myself lucky that WITH insurance this life-saving medication is only 35$. But I also understand that not everyone is that lucky.
It's just insanity
ATTENTION EPI-PEN USERS:
CVS Pharmacy is selling Mylan EpiPens really cheap right now. My dad went yesterday for mine and got four (4) individual epipens for $30. He thinks I was only supposed to get two (2) for $30 but definately check with your insurance and with CVS. This has been a PSA.
You may be eligible to receive the My EpiPen Savings Card™. Click the link to see if you're eligible to recieve this offer. Restrictions apply. Click for complete Terms & Conditions. https://www.epipen.com/en/copay-offer#terms
Put this on another post, but to make it easier to get around, here’s a link to a epi-pen, $0 co-pay card that you are basically eligible for if you have non-Medicaid/care insurance. It covers up to six pens at a time. This card is good through the end of 2016 and will no doubt be available in 2017. I have this card and got my pens at no co-pay.
Filled with epinephrine, the auto-injector's price has risen by more than 480 percent since 2009

If my Epi-Pen can’t fit in it, then I am not buying this purse.
