I didn’t hear this one, but I wouldn’t be surprised if “No Longer You” is hiding in the background instrumentals.

Likewise, I feel like I’m hallucinating background instrumentals sounding like “I don’t know who you are or why you’re here, but let me make one thing clear. I’ve got people to protect… If you make one wrong move then you’re done for.” Honestly probably me hearing what I want to hear.

There’s a trumpet or horn that plays while Telemachus is singing at 3:19 that I wish I could hear by itself because it sounds like it could potentially be a parallel, too, but I can’t tell.

Obviously there’s probably more but that’s all I got right now!

Free Epic Fanfic Idea

Basically the cyclops fight, but it’s actually Ody on some final destination shit, so he goes back to when Polites kills the first sheep but gets pushed back into the same sequence of events (a lil nudge of how he would probably leave out the eye to eye joke, making the cyclops take a lil longer to decide to go murder stabby stabby death time) yada yada, people start fighting, but when Polites dies, it loops again and again until at one point the time loop stops. Only Odysseus remembers the loops. Time starts moving very very slowly, just before Polites is about to die again, except Ody and Polites aren’t frozen in this slowness. There’s a soft ticking in the background, subconscious or not, who cares. (Whatever you imagine crushed Polites, the club or like…. The Cyclops stomping on him) is slowly lowering, signifying how much time they have left. They’re both stunned and confused at first. Cue angst and Ody being able to say goodbye before open arms turns into broken skulls. Time goes back to normal. Polites dies. Except for one thing. Odysseus is like… so close to the cyclops. Eurylochus is confused as to how the fuck he even got there when he was just next to him and runs to go save him, while other crew members are dying(plot armor for Ody) In doing so, Eurylochus sustains some sort of injury, but it doesn’t affect the rest of the plot as the rest of the story goes the same except Ody is extra traumatized and his little hallucinations of the best pancake recipe ache harder
