Quite at the opposite sonic end of the spectrum compared to my latest much softer productions, here are a few extracts from my first ever violin metal recordings I did 8 years ago. I just had my first 5-strings electric violin, bought at the Canberra folk music festival from Australian maker David Guscott. I didn’t know how to produce a track then, but enjoyed creating loops and jamming on top of it with my Boss GT-10. If I remember correctly this must be the first track I ever created on my Logic Pro / Apogee Duet setup (and yes the drums were just borrowed from the standard Logic Pro loops!).
