Holy god Alita Battle Angle is the Shit™
Warning: Some kinda spoilers, but not much detail.
Okay so I just watched Alita Battle Angel for the first time cause my older sister got it the first day the DVD came out. She has been talking nonstop about this movie and honestly??? I don't blame her! It was so Incredible!!!
THE FIGHT SCENES WERE THE BEST IVE EVER SEEN. You know what? Screw Marvel and DC, these were even better. All those Wonderwoman and Captain Marvel fans (of which I am both) should be hollering over this film. That whole Second League Ball scene where she beats everyone's ass?? YASS. I NEED MORE. And when she's only on her one arm?? God yess. I love that scene.
Also,,,,,, Alita's character? Wow. Tbh I didn't like her huge eyes, but after like five minutes I got used to them. And props to the filmmakers for kinda keeping that element of manga in the movie? I found it was kind of a cool touch. And it also isn't super out of place because of the fact that she's a robot. And holy fuck her kinda cocky "I can take on anyone in this bar" attitude and then proceeds to cause a ton of chaos??

Not to mention beautiful scenery!! Well,, okay. It's kinda supposed to be trash city. But. They somehow make it so beautiful just in the concept of the scrappy architecture and people and just the scenes. I don't actually know how to describe it other than I am in awe.
So. All in all, it should be given the same love as Avatar (the James Cameron one). You can prolly expect some Alita stuff from me in the future.
