an epicyon haydeni taking on a melanistic pliohippus, bg was rushed as i had to drop this while at work :(, but i feel like the epicyon and pliohippus had enough invested into them, will be practicing bgs to pump em out quick. i love epicyon, its one of the few animals where i just wish it didnt leave us just because of how interesting it was, ambush hunting tiger dog, crazy stuff.

Of the 10 varieties made, these are possibly my favorite two - Epicyon and Saguaro Blossoms on the left, and Smilodon and poppies with pearlescent variant on the right. Bonus Misfit cameo.

You can preorder the pins, as well as exclusive art prints here. I will be shipping them out in batches prioritizing Kickstarter backers first, so I anticipate shipping preorders in late December and possibly into January (please don't expect these to arrive for major holidays coming up.)

When in doubt, draw werewolves facing left.

Top: Tiny with a nosebleed. I don't know why. I am enamored with this former prettyboy who ends up a grizzled warrior. That's so much fun. I'm basing him on a bunch of farmhands I knew, since that's mostly what he is now, a farmhand with a history of swordsmanship and archery since the age of nine.

Bottom Left: Tiny's wolf form, except he was a kid when it first happened so he was a puppy. Specifically he's an epicyon, because the wolf is enormous in Twilight Princess. Just a silly guy who is traumatized by being transformed into something yet again. But it's kinda cute at the same time because puppy.

Bottom Right: Yeah, that same snarly pose I draw when I don't know what else to do. I'm thinking Fuzzbutt's a dire wolf because it's my ridiculous AU and I can add all the extinct megafauna I want. Tiny and Fuzzbutt can bond over eating bones. I also tried to figure out Midna's hair, which is not easy. I don't know what is supposed to be going on there so I'm simplifying stuff.
