Hi Phati Sari! I hope you are well. I would just like to say, first and foremost, that I absolutely ADORE your blog! Sorry if you've already answered this and sorry again for how childish this question is- you know when Arshi make the bet before Payash's sangeet, when Arnav asks Khushi twice whether she'll really do anything he says, what did he mean by that? I've always wondered whether there was a lustful meaning behind those words of his- would love to hear your thoughts on this!Take care xx
Thank you very much, this so kind! Hello :)
He was always intending to ask for a kiss.
In the beginning of Episode 162, when Khushi asked him to slap her, Arnav stepped up real close, stared at her, and her lips, and then said - Drop it. Let it be. You won’t be able to take it.
He wasn’t talking about a slap. Even Khushi could tell.
I think that’s when the idea germinated and he actively began to plan ways to make Khushi Kumari Gupta kiss him.
When we get to the scene you’re asking about in Episode 165, I think the look on his face says it all. He was definitely planning to ask for a kiss.
When she won the Sangeet, he had to come up with a new way to get what he wanted -- hence the bet. I think Arnav clearly had a goal in mind and there was no way he was letting the Payash wedding happen without progressing what he and Khushi shared to the next stage.
