Jimmy Olsen casually acquiring a fortune at the end of season 1 and then slowly losing it throughout season 2 as a running gag: Funny, but kinda annoying it just returns to the status quo by the end.
Jimmy Olsen casually managing to not only reacquire the same amount of money, but also double it and become a national celebrity between season 2 and season 3: Hilarious.

Crazy how even if Jax DID straight up kill their mom, they’d probably be better off in the circus knowing that for sure than having it be ambiguous.
Like, it’s the lack of closure that really fucks her up because now Jax is stuck always thinking that someone getting too close might kill them, which is worse than if they just knew specifically that her mother was dead or alive and thus could pinpoint whatever specific choices led to that outcome. Without any closure there’s no way to be sure which course of action you have to take or avoid to prevent your mere presence from hurting or killing someone, so there’s just No Win Scenario in any social interaction.
This subplot could've been really annoying, but Kara viewing as competition to see who scores the most dates really saved it and made it one of my favorite things about this episode.
I fully understand why Jimmy has reservations when it comes to dating Kara since the basis of such a relationship would be that he's the first person to treat her with common decency, but that doesn't change the fact that if he fumbles her I will crawl into my TV and beat him with his own femurs

jimmy's actions and reasoning are actually, if somewhat self-pitying and slightly infantilizing, very understandable and not entirely wrong either

Something I really like is Pomni’s choice to run after Kinger of all people at the start of the episode.
Everyone is at their lowest, and even though Pomni’s instinct is to support the others, I think she also recognizes that she needs support, and decides to put herself first so to speak by approaching Kinger as a reliable source of comfort and encouragement before she does anything else. In an episode that really emphasizes Pomni’s willingness to self-sacrifice, I like this beat cause it also reminds us she DOES have a healthy instinct to take care of herself.
Pomni: Dad, I'm having an existential crisis, can you please make me feel better...?
Kinger: You're the most special, incredible, and by far the most STRONGEST person here out of all of us.

its just like. everything i could have wanted from the show. such a wonderful wonderful moment for ragatha. ragatha finally feeling loved. im crying im crying just writing about it im like just so incredibly emotional over it omlllll
Ragatha letting herself say, out loud, “It was so hard for me,” finally finally allowing herself to prioritize her own feelings, and that’s what finally forever eradicates the wall between herself and Pomni.
Does things to me man.
OK but can we talk about how Pomni saying “I’m just Pomni”, fully and finally embracing the identity Caine forced on her at the start of all this, is beautiful both as a full-circle character moment and as her implicitly offering Caine forgiveness?

Biggest reveal of the TADC finale is just how ludicrously fat Ribbit’s ass was.
SEE WHAT I MEAN??
Do me a favor and don’t think about Pomni and Ribbit as obvious proxies for each other, and how embracing Pomni with full trust and vulnerability allows Ragatha to heal from her grief and self loathing while Jax’s failure do the same cemented their downfall AND nearly dragged Ragatha down with them.
