Forbidden jello!
We tried to carve up the jello so everyone could have some, but it must not have set properly because it just fell apart into a big mess.
Now I’ve been biting some black puddings, which are even less tasty. Mmmm, acid on my mandibles.
theladyw replied to your post “I try to bite the gelatinous cube.”
My group befriended the last gelatinous cube we came across. Highly recommend.
That does sound handy, but tricky! They’re not very smart. (Of course, we befriended Augie the cat, and he isn’t that much smarter than a gelatinous cube. Sorry, baby cat, but it’s true.)

I am excited to see it tomorrow night!
YAY. I hope everyone sees it. It’s great.

I am going to be A MESS when I see it, I just know it. Glad to hear you enjoyed it! <3
I DID
but like... I started getting teary eyed at the Disney logo before the movie started. I mean, it shows up and then it shifts like, you know, the eponymous wrinkle (sorry I couldn’t resist) and I was already emotional, it was ridiculous
(and I forgot to bring kleenex. which was silly of me, I’d gotten teary at the trailer, I knew better, but I still forgot.)
I mean, it’s quite different from the book in some ways, but it does such a good job of holding the same feel I remember from the first time I read it when I was, idk, 8 or whatever; I have no idea when I read it the first time, BUT IT STUCK whenever it was and MEG IS AMAZING I LOVE HER (Calvin loves her it’s perfect) aaaand, I’m almost crying again Because Charles Wallace
What do you have against wonderful innocent lovely delicious pineapples??? But seriously, what's a video game you liked much more than you were expecting, and what's a video game you were expecting to like much more than you actually did?
MESO EPONYMOUS ROSE CYCLONE TVS DON’T YOU DO THAT TO ME DON’T START THE PINEAPPLE DISCOURSE AGAIN
A video game I liked more than I was expecting: Assassin’s Creed II! I was so bored by the first one that I dropped it in the middle and I LOVED the second! I don’t understand how they managed to make it so much fucking fun but I don#t really care. Have not played any other AssCreed games though (yet?).A video game I expected to like more than I did: Dragon Age Inquisition :(

Okay, that sounds AMAZING.

That sounds really awesome!
Yeah! It’s pretty darn cool! Maybe I’ll post pictures of my finished projects at some point. I’ll have to get permission, though -- two of them feature content that isn’t mine, and I don’t wanna spread people’s real human names around. I’m pretty proud of them, as crude as they are!

I'm obviously biased, but your book arts courses seem rad as hell.
You super duper are biased, yes. ;D
But it helps that the professor is one of the most personable, interesting people I’ve met. He’s not gonna let you get away with murder, but he’s not a hardass either. He leaves the studio open for people in “the scene,” even when they’re not taking book arts that semester, but he expects you to clean up after yourself. He doesn’t dictate the form or function of your work, except when it’s required to learn an example. And he has a ton of real cool stories. A really disarming guy, and a big reason why I took the course to begin with!
I’m heading out to run some errands, but I’m guessing I’ll be doing a play session around 3:00 CDT, and then another one tonight? I’ll buzz y’all when I’m signing on.

I'll def be around sometimes this weekend, not sure how timezones will mesh but if we happen to be onine at the same time I'm def up for some games! the mp is a lot of fun!
Those darn timezones! I might be on Sunday morning my time, which might be our best shot (unless you want to stay up late to play this afternoon my time...)

Hey i might be game tomorrow night!
Awesome! I’ll look for you on Origin tonight. (And if you’re not there, no worries...)

Add me to the 'some day' set? :) (I don't have my computer currently.)
Not having one’s computer is a great sadness. Hope the move goes well! (I don’t know if we’re friends on Origin; my account there is “probablyislost” if you want to add me.)
eponymous-rose replied to your post “Having (barely) survived final exams, I’m hoping to play some...”
Oh gossssh I can't wait to play more of this! But I am still only like 18% into the singleplayer, and have no time in the foreseeable future to play. Hopefully we'll be able to play soon? :D
I was pretty sure that you wouldn’t have time to play when I tagged you, given dissertation and shooting-rockets-into-tornadoes issues, but I didn’t want to leave you out. :D (It will be SO WEIRD to play an ME game with you that I’ve played more than you have.)

Sounds like fun! I've never played MEA multiplayer, so I don't know how much use I would be to you, but I'd definitely give it a shot. I'm free pretty much the whole weekend, I think.
“Use” is totally optional. I’ve had plenty of fun playing matches with friends where we all wound up as a pile of dead bodies. :D I’ll buzz you when I’m starting.

EXCELLENT.

I figured. I hope an escape from work hell awaits sometime in the future!

YES VERY GOOD.

That'd be fun :D Though, fair warning: I've *never* played MP before, so I may have a bit of a learning curve
Totally not a problem. Happy to assist people along a learning curve!

Looks awesome! Isn't it just SO satisfying getting to tuck all those cables away?
More proof, if I needed any, that I have found My People because YES, SO VERY SATISFYING. (I confess that in the computer I built a few years ago, the cables are just sorta a giant mass in the middle of the case because I didn’t have anywhere else to put them...)

Hah, I thought it looked familiar! I have the Fractal Design Define... R5, I think? I've had it for years now and it's been doing great. :D
Yeah, the R5 does look very similar (aside from being a bit taller)... Glad to hear it’s doing well!
