Would you say men and women are interchangeable?
No. If I am interpreting your question correctly, then no.
I personally really like the idea of complementarianism.
Men and women are not the same and that's okay!
They're both equal in value, both just as important but fundamentally different.
You can't replace one with the other.
Of course, some women are very good at things that may seem stereotypically masculine, some men are good at things more stereotypically feminine.
I honestly think that can be quite beautiful, we are all individuals with different interests and things we excel in.
But at the end of the day, they are not interchangeable and that's okay.
Stereotypes are usually stereotypes for a reason.(About sex/gender/gender roles.)
I grew up as a tomboy. I can sometimes seem quite masculine but I'll never be able to be a replacement for an actual man.
Some people seem to look at that as a bad thing but I think there is a lot of beauty in that. How men and women complete and complement each other. ☺️
I hope that's made some sense and that I interpreted the question correctly! If not, let me know! 😊
Thank you for your ask! 🩷
