Twilight: Let’s just all get back to enjoying this magical evening.

Without delay, the Gala continued on as if nothing had happened at all. Discord was now bitter with the Smooze after the most recent happening.

Discord: You are making me look like a fool in front of Fluttershy!

Discord: And on top of that, you almost made my fiancee embarrass me in front of every pony! Just wait here until the Gala is over. I’ll be back for you then.

The door was partially shut when the Smooze looked out and whimpered at Discord like a sad dog. Discord looked back for a moment to consider letting him back out, but decided against it and kicked the door shut with his hoof.

The Smooze was upset, but only for a moment. When he looked behind him, he couldn’t believe what he was seeing.

His luck had finally turned up. Happily, he licked his lips.

Discord hadn’t known it, but he locked the Smooze up in one of the castle’s treasuries.

Not much longer after all that went on, the Crusaders and their sisters had arrived at the Gala.

CMC: We’re here! We're here! We made it to the Gala!

While the Crusaders chimed excitedly about their arrival, Rarity and Applejack smiled at each other, happy to see how happy their siblings were.

Moments after, Discord then entered the room, throwing a diamond to the Smooze as they walked through the door.

Discord: Here. A little something to keep you busy.

Discord: Now then, time to find... ah! There she is!

Right there in the ballroom at one of the tables was Fluttershy talking to Tree Hugger.

She seemed to be happy about a story Tree Hugger was telling her, as she let out a giggle.

Discord was excited to find Fluttershy. Now it was time to put his plan into motion.

The two started to stroll down the streets of the Crystal Empire. Discord wasn’t completely ready for going and seeing Cadence and Shining, but he knew it still had to be done.

Discord: So have you really put any thought into what you want to ask either of them?

Keira: Well of course I have! What about you?

Discord: I guess I’ve put a little thought into what I want to ask. What are you wondering?

Keira: That’s easy! I want to know who did her dresses, how they decided on a date for the wedding, how they decided where it should be, who all they thought of to be bridesmares, who did their cake- there’s just so many things I want to know!

As soon as Discord teleported the two to the Crystal Empire, Keira was already looking around at the scenery, hopping a bridal shop was nearby. Discord on the other hand was still worrying a little bit. It wasn’t so much about whether Cadence and Shining were going to be busy, but what exactly was he going to ask about.

Discord: Hmm... I could ask about tux colors. Don’t those need to match the rest of the wedding though? Did he get cold hooves at the alter? What if that happens to me? What could he suggest to get over it?

Keira: Come on, Discord. Let’s do some looking before we go see them!

Discord: Do I need to worry about rings? Who does that part anyhow? And where would we even be able to hold the wedding?

Keira: Discord! Are you coming?

Discord: Hm? Wha- oh! Coming dear!

Twilight: Are you sure you’re okay with this, Keira? Discord’s normally with you and as much as I’m happy for the both of you for being engaged, he kind of drives me nuts. Keira: I’m fine. Discord actually wanted to go talk to Celestia about his wrong doings when Tirek took over. Besides, this gives us a chance to look back at the things we did when we were fillies!

Twilight: Like the time we tried to blame Shining for taking Luna’s cookies the time we had to stay over at the castle? Keira: Ha, ha! Yeah! Or the time we made a book fort and made Shining dress up as a mare when we were playing Knights and Dragons? And how Cadence came over that day and laughed for hours? Twilight: Ah, yes. Good times. I have to admit, that was a lot of fun. Let’s not forget that time you make those cakes and Shining thought they were real. I can remember when my mom told me he chipped two of his baby teeth! Keira: I remember when you told me about it! I remember feeling really bad and almost crying when my mom made me give him some real pieces of Grandma Starlime’s lime cake as an apology!

While the dance event was still going on, Discord and Keira did some looking around shops for an engagement band of some sort. Unfortunately, there was no such luck. Either the jewelry stores were closed or nothing appealed to them.

Discord: We’ve search nearly all the stores here and there’s not a single thing!

Keira: The ones I saw were pretty and all, but I just didn’t see one that I really liked... I’m sorry, Discord...

A thought randomly occurred to Discord, stopping him dead in his tracks and making Keira do the same.

Discord: Wait a second. Why didn’t I think of that before?!

Keira: Think of what?

Discord: Keira, you’ve always been the one to tell me that a perfect gift is one from the heart, right?

Keira: Well, yes, but I’m not sure where you’re going with this...

Discord: Trust me on this one. Since the results are likely going to be called soon, let’s head back to the stadium.

Keira: Alright, I guess...

With a snap of his claw, they were back at the stadium lobby.

Discord: Now, I just need you to close your eyes.

Keira: Alright then. I’ll trust you.

While Keira’s eyes were shut, Discord closed his eyes for a moment and envisioned what he thought to be the perfect engagement band for Keira. With a snap of his claw, something started to materialize around Keira’s hoof.

As quickly as he had clicked his claw, a golden bracelet appeared around her hoof. The engagement band was adorned with rainbow colored gemstones, each color matching the colors of her cutie mark.

Discord: Alright! Open your eyes!

Keira did so and immediately looked at her hoof, admiring the engagement band silently. The silence was enough to make Discord a little uneasy.

Discord: D-do you like it? I know it’s not the best thing ever, but I really tried to think of what would be perfect for you and I-

Discord was stopped by Keira lunging at him lovingly, a tight embrace to follow.

Keira: It’s perfect! I love it so much! Thank you, Discord! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Discord chuckled, both glad Keira loved it and rather impressed with his work.

Discord: Wonderful! I’m so glad you like it! Now how about we go out there and see what the results are going to be. As your trainer, I’d like to see how it went.

???: Oh, so that’s the one who trained you? What a joke...

Discord was a little shocked by the mystery voice, but Keira was all too familiar with it. She glared back behind her, rather unimpressed with who she saw. She was back...

The day of the Ponyville swim meet had come at last. Most of the ponies that came were local residents in the area, but some visiting ponies also came to spectate.

There were ponies jumping off high dives to show off some of their tricks and diving precision for show.

The crowd would watch attentively as the diving ponies showed off their swimming and diving feats.

There were also ponies judging those who were participating. At the moment though, Lyra seemed to be the hardest to please.

As the diver climbed out of the water, the ponies applauded. The diver was aware of their score and must have felt good despite Lyra’s disapproval. They must have been expecting far worse.

Another pony was leaping over and under the water barriers, acting as if they were a dolphin.

Later that day, Keira was dealing a customer. Keira: Alright, so you wanted a requested picture. Is there anything specific you want done? Equisp: Well, I don’t really have anything in particular in mind. I just want something really nice for Orchua. Make it a pleasant surprise. Keira: Sure thing! I’m going to just grab my notepad so I can write a reminder. My schedule is constantly getting cramped.

Equisp: I would imagine so with being the local art shop.

Keira jotted down the order writing down things that Equisp thought of. She wanted to be painted into the picture and asked to make sure it was hidden in the back in case Orchua came in to order anything. The rest was fair game for Keira. Keira: Anything else I can get for you? Equisp: No, I think that’s all. Thank you so much! I’ll have the payment ready in a day or two.

As soon Equisp left, Discord randomly appeared, startling Keira so badly that she accidentally scribbled on some of the order. Discord: So Keira, are you feeling better? I was thinking that maybe we can practice more of your- Keira: Discord, I already told you. I can’t do it. I have some orders to get to. And stop going off about the games. I already feel stupid for even considering signing up for them in the first place...
