So i just created an pjo headcanon that percy is half portuguese. His mother, Sally was born in the portuguese coast, probably Sesimbra, and lived there till she moved to U.S.

Because she lived in a country with a LOT of maritime culture and in a place very close to the beach, when she met posidon (a typical fisherman) she immediately fell in love. So Percy has Portuguese blood, he really likes to go to Portugal, and eat berlin balls (a traditional sweet sold on the beaches) and makes blue berlin balls several times with his mother. He also took Annabeth to Portugal as she loves architecture and history and Portugal has a lot of that. I simply imagine Percy as a typical Portuguese from the south bank.

Happy Halloween! Recently I’ve been rereading the Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini and I was inspired by one of my favorite scenes; during the Agaeti Blodhren Ceremony in the Elvish city of Ellesmera, Eragon is dramatically turned into a Half-Elf. Even though it all happened at night and Eragon has much lighter hair, it didn’t stop me from dressing up as one of my favorite characters!
