Hitoshi growled and turned on his heel towards Tenya. “You keep saying that you’re my husband. That we’re family but we aren't! We’re just roommates. Practically strangers at that! We know nothing about one another! That drunken night was a damn mistake!” His finger stabbed the taller man in the chest with every point he made.

“It wasn’t a mistake.”

The phrase paused Hitoshi instantly. He felt a chill down his spine as he looked up at the flushed red face of Tenya’s. “It wasn’t a mistake Hitoshi.” Hitoshi watched as different expressions crossed Tenya’s face as the man struggled to gather his thoughts.

“I don’t know how to describe it, but my subconscious that night must have known something about you linked to something within me deeply. I’d like to really give this a proper try. I’ll work harder please just don’t give up on what we might have.” Tenya hesitantly reached up and cupped Hitoshi’s cheek.

“I’m positively terrified Hitoshi. Everything is screaming within me to run away from this situation but when I see Atsushi and when I see you. I really want to trust in the possibility of us. Can you just try trusting in that possibility with me?”
