"What hideous sin have you committed lately, Ras?" Minthe asked coyly.

Erasmos only glared at her. He wasn't wont to talk to her outside of their... well, she supposed “scenes” was the most applicable term for what they did together.

"Come on, I know you enjoyed last week. I wouldn't be bugging you if you didn't."

"I still have no idea what you're talking about." The man genuinely looked confused.

"You... you honestly don't remember me?" Minthe asked.

"Should I?"

"Well, I've only been consulting on Panthea's concepts for the better part of a year. And most of those hand-offs happened through you."

"You see a lot of people at this job," Erasmos said flatly.

"Sure you do. But I doubt you see most of them at Icarus' place as well."

He squinted at her. It looked as though he was trying to bore a hole into her skull with his eyes alone.

Minthe rolled her eyes. "If you're not going to at least be fun about it, then I'm not going to waste my time with you."

She turned away from him, already piecing a scathing review for her friends.

"Wait. You're Minthe." Erasmos' tone lightened a bit. "I'd recognize that ass anywhere."

Minthe froze. How dare... no, Minthe, we're not going to let him get under your skin like this.

She turned back to him, baring a smile. "Wow, Ras. I thought Hades was exaggerating when he said you were the worst. Clearly, he was underselling it. Thanks for the confirmation!"

Before Erasmos could say aught else, Minthe strode as fast as she could to keep the last word. What an ass.
