Prompt drabbles 1/?

Pairing: Caboose/Grif, I guess 

Rating: PG?

Prompt: 

Imagine Person A of your OTP asking Person B if they want a kiss. Person B blushes and nervously asks, ‘Huh? Wh-what do you mean?’ (Or something along those lines). Person A then hands a Hershey’s Kiss to Person B. (Bonus if they end up sharing it with an actual kiss.) X

  "What? No! Stop fucking around, Caboose, I'm busy." Church snapped before decidng to just ignore the private and go back to what was supposedly taking up his time, staring at an empty fridge. Caboose's shoulders slumped and he pushed the chocolate back into his pocket, Church hadn't even looked at him.

  The blue sulked around outside the base. He'd already tried to ask Tucker, and been laughed at and sent away for his trouble.

  He just wanted to share the candy and maybe make the others smile.

  Donut. That was all the thought it took before Caboose shot off across the canyon without any warning or armor.

  Approaching the red base there was a crack of gunfire as a bullet whizzed through the air and landed to the side of him.

  "Caboose, this is red base, you got turned around. Go home." Grif called over.

  Seemingly unphased by the warning shot, Caboose made a beeline towards Grif. "Grif! You like food." He grinned and started rummaging around in his pockets.

  "What's that supposed to mean?" He eyed Caboose suspiciously.

  Completely ignoring the question, Caboose grabbed a kiss and cracked a huge grin.

  "Would you like a kiss?"

  Well it wasn't what Grif had been expecting.

  "What?" Grif glanced around, even checking for movement on his HUD, it had to be some kind of weird elaborate prank. But it was Caboose. How elaborate could it be. "Caboose do you know what you're asking?"

  Instead of answering, Caboose scooted closer and knocked on the side of Grif's helmet. "You cannot have a kiss through your helmet."

  Still not sure what was going on, but spurred on by a general why the fuck not feeling, Grif unclipped his helmet and pulled it off. Closing his eyes quickly to combat the sudden brightness. 

  "Open your eyes." Caboose laughed, holding the chocolate out for Grif. When the red blinked a few times and slowly opened his eyes properly he finally noticed the silver foil sitting in Caboose's outstretched palm. After a split second of silence Grif burst out laughing. That strange almost manic laugh he had when really and truly gone.

  "Caboose, do you-" Grif cut himself off with another pitchy laugh. "Fucking idiot."

Well, it wasn't the reaction Caboose had been hoping for, that was for sure. "If you do not want the kiss I can give it to Donut." Instantly Grif shut up. This sort of misunderstanding, mixed with Donut, could be bad.

  "No! I'll take it, Caboose." He grabbed the chocolate and unwrapped it, popping it in his mouth before continuing with clumped up speech. "I just thought you meant - doesn't matter." Grif shrugged, no point explaining it, Caboose wouldn't understand.

  Caboose stared for a few moments and then leaned down to kiss Grif. It was a quick and almost gentle touch, dry, chapped lips and an aftertaste of artificial chocolate, but it was enough to shock Grif into silence.

  "I did not mean to mislead you, if you would like more I have plenty of both!" Caboose just smiled.

Ok so I'm currently doing an animal reproduction course at uni and there was going to be 1 lecture on bat reproduction (just 1 hour!) and it got cancelled cause one of the guest lecturers on cattle didn't turn up when he was supposed to.

All the stuff we do with cattle and the 1 lecture I was looking forward to all semester gets cancelled.

OK I'll end my rant there..
