A clip from the making of Eric Wyatt's new album "Look to the Sky". I shot and edited the video when the album was recorded in the studio. The album was officially released today. If you are a fan of jazz or a fan of great musicianship by an artist coming from the soul, I suggest you pick it up. The artists you surround yourself with have a direct impact on the work you put out...as Eric so eloquently says here. If you need a reason to buy it: 1. He has an amazing rendition "My Favorite Things" inspired by Coltrane. 2. Keyon Harrold, the amazing Grammy-winning trumpet player is playing on several songs. 3. Sonny Rollins is his godfather. 4. He was born and raised in Brooklyn where his father was also a saxophonist....a true New York jazz musician. 5. Just listen to the clip. I had the great pleasure of recording a studio session for saxophonist and composer Eric Wyatt for his album "Look To The Sky". He recently signed with a record label and they're releasing his album on October 27th. There are some serious musicians playing on the album, it was quite an experience to capture the energy in the studio and put together this video. Full video on Youtube. Eric Wyatt @wyatt.eric really brings you to a special place you can feel when he plays... Kyle Poole killing it on drums on a few tracks...plus Grammy award winning trumpet player @KeyonHarrold is featured on the album!!! He played all the trumpet parts in the Miles Davis biopic. Feels great to be a part of exposing great musicianship. The album is amazing!!!
