Heh I didn't mind which sport. :p I'm going to have to go historical Wallabies because I really couldn't tell you much about the current lot and I'd be going purely on faces. 

Favourite player:

John Eales. 

He seemed like a nice guy, and I always liked that he kicked conversions and penalties as a lock. Also there was that one penalty he kicked to win the Bledisloe Cup in 2000. It was against the All Blacks, yeah but It was impressive. 

Also considered: George Gregan, Nick Farr-Jones (no I don't know why they are all captains). 

Least favourite player: 

Michael Lynagh. 

This is a total reach because I vaguely remember disliking him as a kid because he was so good.

IDC, I’LL ANSWER EITHER.  I’ve got literally nothing to do.

I luv amnesia but only if it’s done by someone with no shame who loves going balls to the wall.  LIKE THE VOW.  I FUCKING LOVE THE VOW, except I need a much cheesier ending, OBVIOUSLY.  Also, I love it when one partner loses all their memories and the other doesn’t tell them that they were married and in love forever.  WHY HAVEN’T I READ STEREK FIC TO THAT EXTENT.

1. What’s one thing you think you’ve learnt from being in fandom?

That people you've never met in real life can be really kind. Pollyanna answer but it's true!

2. What was your favourite movie/book/album of 2012? (You can pick one or talk about all three!)

Um um um this is hard. Movie might be Moonrise Kingdom which was just soooooo delightful and perfectly formed. Book maaaaaybe was Code Name Verity by Elizabeth Wein, for being absolutely heartbreaking and truthful and stunning. Album was Frank Ocean's Channel Orange, I guess, since it's the one I listened to the most.

3. What proportion of your day do you estimate you spend online?

Short answer: too much.

Long answer: first thing I do in the mornings is check email and twitter on my phone or tablet. Last thing I do at night is check email and twitter on my phone or tablet. I spend all day at work chained to a desk with internet access. Somewhere in between I try to eat, sleep and see daylight. TOO MUCH OMG.

4. Which music artist have you seen the most live? 

I first saw You Am I when I was fifteen. I can't count how many times I have seen them since.

5. What do you like most about your current job/course of study?

I am mostly left alone and trusted to get my stuff done on time (i.e. I can fuck around on the internet a lot); I have a good manager; I am good at what I do; and I am paid enough to allow me to go to lots of concerts and movies and things.

6. If you had live in one city in the world for the rest of your life, what would it be?

I love to visit other places but Sydney is where my people are, and I think I would miss them too much if I left for long, and I have been very happy here. So, I guess the answer is Sydney. BORING, SORRY. (But seriously. Sydney is pretty great.)

7. Name a song you liked from ten years ago.

Just one? Haha. I feel lucky I cut it down to 4.

8. How many languages do you speak? What would you like to learn?

English obvs and a little Cantonese, in what I have been assured is a terrible accent. I was very fluent in Cantonese as a child, and I still understand a bit, but after I hit school age and started mingling with Anglo kids, I lost it. I'd love to learn it again but a) even my mum thinks Cantonese is an impractical language to learn and that Mandarin would be much more useful, and b) I am actually terrible at languages. TERRIBLE. e.g. I did five continuous years of Indonesian in high school and remember approximately five words. (Selamat pagi! Saya menonton televisi!)

9. If you had to impress a date, what would you cook them?

Right at this moment I'd probably crack out the tagine and do some sort of slow-cook Moroccan dish, because my tagine is so new and shiny. For dessert, a rhubarb and apple tart (lots of elements, long prep time), or if feeling lazy, a chiffon cake (looks great, fairly easy). For drinks, since my usual wine budget is $20 a bottle or less, I'd splash out and get a $30 bottle instead - EXTRAVAGANT, I KNOW. :P

10. What’s your favourite fic trope and why?

Doppelgangers. Rivalries. Robots. Fake dating. High school. Time travel. Why? I don't knooooow... I just find these things fascinating!

It's iconoclassic which I don't even think is a personal tumblr? Anyway I always end up liking about 50% of what they post. /o\
