I'm highly excited for all of it, but the thing that keeps sticking in my head with regards to ba sing se is that I'm assuming Zuko is gonna have to end up with some sort of legal Earth Kingdom passport courtesy of the Beifongs to get into the city. And just. For some reason I find the thought of Zuko accidentally implicating Tophs dad in offical identity fraud utterly hilarious.

well of course Lao is going to get Li a passport! How else could he keep watch over Toph for them when they go to Ba Sing Se? It’s not as if there’s anything unusual about a commoner not having a passport of their own, especially a refugee. this definitely won’t backfire on him in any possible way!

zuko voice: i don’t know what you mean, sokka. i’m just a humble earth kingdom servant

I adore your most recent bit of art. Jon's face is a slightly-embarressed-but-I'm-used-to-this expression, as I'm very sure that he's probably very used to Martin and Gerry manhandling him to stop him walking into a lamppost because he got distracted again. Martin, however, is a wonderful combination of mildly-terrified-and-flustered and is hecking adorable.

So that last chapter ruined me, just so you know. Zuko finally, finally letting himself admit how much the journey they've all been on has hurt, even before he died, painfully, again. The way his voice cracked as he admitted he was tired? My heart. And Hakoda, in a horrible repeat of several years earlier, Sokka trying to lift his brother but not being able to carry the weight? Excuse me while I cry in a corner.

😭😭 If it makes u feel any better I cried multiple times writing this chapter and I knew what was coming!!!

Hey, noticed you've been reblogging stuff snout the lost tomb reboot recently and it looks pretty interesting! I've not watched any of it or it's prequel - have you? If you have, do you think I could jump straight into the reboot and still follow along? Thanks!

Hello!! Lost Tomb Reboot is super good!! You can absolutely jump straight into it! It makes a few references to the series before it, but it's very easy to follow along. I haven't watched any of the prequels and I'm not having any trouble with it :) I highly highly recommend!! I haven't quite finished it yet but I'm really, really enjoying it. I started watching it because I really like Zhu Yilong, the main actor, but the storyline is super interesting and the character dynamics are excellent! Plus all the actors are very, very good and the special effects are some of the best I've seen for Chinese dramas. You can watch it for free on iqiyi (iq.com). It's interesting enough that I'm tempted to go back and watch the prequels, but I'm very attached to how the main actors play their characters, so we'll see haha. I hope you like it!!! :D

I just read 'Guidelines' and wanted to let you know how much I loved it! I really thought you got everyone's character, and the whole sequence with the explosion was great. Please let Peter punch a few people in the face, he deserves. And Tony could probably do with a hug at some point too! Thank you for writing it!
