physics and ap theory from the other day. I had to measure circumferences of various circles in physics and I did not enjoy that one bit. I can already tell it’s going to be a rough year. ap theory on the other hand is pretty basic right now. I’ve played piano since I was 6, and viola since I was 10, so all we’ve done is basically review for me. also, I FINALLY got my grade for my ap stat test, and it was a lot better than I expected, especially after hearing the horror stories of 42s and 67s from previous students. let’s hope that trend keeps going through the rest of the year🤞🏻

I love drawing graphs and charts in my notes, it’s so satisfying!! sorry it’s been a little bit since I’ve posted, I’ve been distracted this week. on tuesday, I went to a college open house for one of the schools I’m applying to and it was pretty fun. they had free ice cream, so that automatically made it amazing, haha. my ap stat teacher still hasn’t finished up grading our exams from last week, so I’m stressed about that aahh

one more day til the weekend, thank goodness

pretty much summs up the last few days for me. I had a stat test today and it either went really really well or really really bad haha. also the august sat score release is today but mine just says pending :)) I’m only dying a little bit inside... at least it’s the weekend

yeah so tonight’s homework was the odd problems from 45-89 as well as all the problems from 91-98... I’ve been at it for two hours and I’m only half through because almost every question has an a, b, and c. in fact, two of the problems took up a whole side of a sheet of paper!! other classes today were good though, and on the bright side I have a textbook now

theory flashcards!!

I definitely should have already known this stuff without even thinking about it bc I’ve played piano for almost eleven years, but I never learned it whoops. what better motivation than taking a class where it’s required to know! we took a diagnostic practice exam and I’m not gonna lie when I say it was probably the most difficult test i’ve taken simply because I knew what they were trying to ask and understood the music in the excerpts, but didn’t know what any of the answers meant! fingers crossed that I can get my life together and figure out what’s going lol

also my school’s football team had their first game last night, and they won, so that was exciting!! a few friends and I went to ihop afterwards and that was a blast.

okay I actually really enjoy ap comparative government so far, it’s really interesting! today we talked about recent crises in the united kingdom, iran, and brazil, and applied what we learned to those events. orchestra was also pretty good, and english was a drag. I had a migraine for most of the afternoon, and am getting a late start on my ap stat and ap physics homework aahh :(

it’s the first full block of ap stat and we’re already learning woooo. to be fair though, my teacher did start content yesterday in our 45 minute homeroom so that was fun

but yay, back to school!! I was originally scheduled to take five aps as well as a dual enrollment class through my local college, but I had a schedule conflict with that class, so I had to drop to regular english which was sad because it’s the first regular english class I’ve taken :( also, I had to drop ap french v because my orchestra also met that block, and I care wayyy more about orchestra than I do about french haha

which then left me with a free period every other day, so I’m going to be a teachers assistant for that block of orchestra :) I like most of my classes so far (except ap physics and english) so hopefully the year will go well

some ap macroeconomics exam review— I had to take this exam immediately following the ap lang exam, and I sincerely believe that this page of notes is the only reason I got a 3 because my teacher said “oh there’s no way there will be a phillips curve on the free response” and didn’t go over it. mr. clifford’s ac/dc econ review video literally saved me haha
