what are the parameters of presumed widowship that causes wedge to get a crush. like i get that the spouse has to be not dead but like. would it count if it wasn't a spouse but instead they were just DATING and then one of them fake died in a z-95 implosion and we, the readers, know he's just naked and vibrating, but his evil spy semi gf who he was about to dump for someone who is BASICALLY wedge's sister thinks he's dead, would wedge be into that? (note: not my idea. inspired by rogue pod)
are you trying to trick me into shipping wedge and erisi? because I WON’T
“She is efficient and well-read, two traits I highly appreciate. Her manner is cold, sharp and likely off-putting to others, but I require no kindnesses or platitudes to work, only the ability to actually complete an assignment. An acceptable partner.”
-
“Aw, she’s a lil’ businesslike, but that ain’t necessarily a bad thing. I’ve worked fer colder. An’ it’s not like she don’t care ‘bout her subordinates. Made a point o’ comin’ over an’ congratulatin’ me after my promotion. She didn’t have t’ do that.”
-
“He’s not so bad. Long as he doesn’t get the kiddo killed workin’ with him. She keeps comin’ back from whatever they’re gettin’ themselves up to, we’re fine.”
-
“The Sunspears are lucky to have her. She’s one hell of a fighter. Wouldn’t mind getting more chances to talk to her, but I don’t think she’s much into wasting time on small talk.”
"I still care about him a lot and count him as a close friend. Wish there was more time to spend together, but deployments and weird ass schedules have made it a pain in the ass to find each other. Ugh." - "He tends to encourages my studies and assists where necessary more than teaching, which is somewhat different for a teacher-apprentice relationship. That said, he has opened doors for taking part in projects and study that I likely never would have encountered otherwise. I have no problem serving as a research assistant. Additionally, he has never lit me on fire. This is a major plus." - "She's adorable and kind and caring. And frequently dirty. Sometimes it's more like being her babysitter than her girlfriend. Pretty sure I'm in love, which is annoying sometimes. But I wouldn't trade my time with her for anything, so you know. There's that." - "She might as well be my sister, and there ain't no one I'd rather have at my back when the chips are down."
28:Who do they see as their best friend? Their worst enemy?
Erisi’s best friend is Iszornae Sunshatter. Isza has been very good to her, especially since she cut ties with her abusive family after she joined the Sunguard. She still fully expects that Isza will stab her in the back at some point (as far as she’s concerned, that’s what other warlocks do), but if it comes down to being loyal to someone who’s kind to her and supports her studies or loyal to a family that looks at her as the expendable child for her elder siblings to experiment on, well, that’s not much of a choice.
Her worst enemies are her brothers Kade and Errol. They’re the ones who scarred her for life both physically and emotionally by using her as a target dummy and continue to harass her in public any time they manage to hunt her down.

"Out Of Everything In The World What Do You Wish For"
"Couple of years off would be nice. Just, you know, some quiet time without a cataclysmic world-threatening event to ruin it. We used to get at least a few years between disasters." - Eyline
Are you afraid of falling in love
"No, it’s actually working out pretty nicely at the moment. Don’t tell her I said that." - Nova
Do you like the way you look
"Other than minor burn scarring in a location generally hidden by clothing, I believe my looks to be quite acceptable by any reasonable standard. Even my lacking eyesight seems to assist in that I am relatively frequently informed that my corrective lenses are ‘cute’." - Erisi
Who’s getting on your nerves right now?
"You. No, I’m just kidding. You’re alright." - Rastirah
Rain pelted down on the empty streets of Silvermoon, the vast majority of the gleaming sin’dorei city’s population having decided to head indoors to wait out the malfunction in the enchantments that normally held the weather at bay. Erisi Morningway and Iszornae Sunshatter, however, hadn’t been quite so lucky - that was why the two young warlocks now found themselves huddled together under an awning, peering out at driving rain that left them unable to see so far as the end of the street.
Erisi pushed a lock of soaked jet-black hair out of her eyes and removed her silver-rimmed glasses, scrubbing uselessly at the rain-dotted lenses with the wet fabric of her robes before giving up and squinting out at a delighted sin’dorei child splashing around in the rain while his mother, unwilling to become drenched herself, stood under another awning across the street and yelled at him to come back to no avail. “Well, this is certainly original.”
"Oh, it’s terrible, isn’t it?" Iszornae crossed her arms, scowling out at the downpour from behind a curtain of damp white curls. "I do hope someone’ll be punished for this. I’d love to be able to take part.”
"Mmm." Erisi’s hum was noncommittal. "I’m sure whatever magister was responsible will be sweeping floors by the end of the day. If he is lucky."
"Too good for him~" Isza singsonged. "Look at my hair. It’s ruined." The pale-haired young woman shook her head disapprovingly. "Tch. Couldn’t it have waited another ten minutes? We’d have been safe and sound at home."
Erisi watched the rain for a few more moments, then tilted her head. “I have an idea.”
Iszornae clapped her hands. “I just knew you’d think of something. What is it?”
Rather than answer, Erisi began to mutter, the words familiar to any warlock as a summoning ritual. Isza watched with a mixture of curiosity and glee… she didn’t know what her friend was up to, but Erisi usually came up with something good.
Five minutes later, they stepped out from under the awning… which came along with them, no longer attached to its posts. Stares followed in their wake as they moved along the street on their way back to Iszornae’s rooms, and Isza laughed delightedly. “I wouldn’t have thought of this.”
Erisi responded primly, arms loaded down with the bags containing their shopping. “That is why you keep me around.”
"Now, now. I keep you around for many reasons.”
A flicker of amusement crossed Erisi’s face, gone as quickly as it had arrived. “As you say.”
Erisi’s shivarra trailed behind them as they walked home, muttering to herself in Eredun and keeping the stolen awning outstretched to protect her mistress and her mistress’s companion from the pouring rain.
