Erlu Brotp Headcanons

Now that Lucy uses Star Dress, they train together a lot more. Erza's never had someone who can requip like her to train with and they both absolutely love it

Lucy was very scared the first time they sparred cause Erza is not known to pull punches, but she actually was able to keep up pretty well

The most terrifying moment of Natsu's life was busting in on them practicing archery and getting arrows pointed at him from the two women he fears most

Lucy is one of the few people who can get away with telling Erza no. Elfman nearly fainted the first time she did it

"Erza I'm having boy problems" "like feelings problems or I can fix it with a sword problems?"

Lucy helps Erza get ready for her first date, she does her makeup and hair and gives her a pep talk before sending her off like a proud sister

She also helps her get ready for her wedding later on and cries the whole time

Lucy can always tell when Erza is having a bad day and does something small to cheer her up without outright pointing out she knows Erza is upset. She'll just subtly buy her a strawberry cake or invite her out to the movies

Erza tries to do the same thing for Lucy but isn't as good at picking up the changes in her mood. Lucy still appreciates the effort and it never fails to make her day

Erza and Laxus petition for Lucy to get picked for the S-Class trials. Master Makarov wasn't sure, but seeing how passionate they both were about it, he did put her up for it

While Erza isn't too fond of reading, she is always the first in line to buy Lucy's new books. After finishing them, she runs to tell Lucy her theories and gush about her favorites.

Lucy is considering writing a series of romance novels just for Erza cause she knows it's her favorite genre

They have sleepovers! I'm not talking sharing a hotel on missions. I'm talking full pj party, talking about boys (and girls), doing each others makeup. The whole nine yards. Wendy joins in too from time to time

Erza really enjoys doing stereotypical girly things with Lucy. Growing up, she really did have people she could try on fancy dresses with and just be soft and delicate. And as she got older, her rep in Fairy Tail only further pulled her away from that side of her.

Lucy understands being put into a box based on others perspectives of you, so she always tells Erza how beautiful she is and compliments things other than just her strength, because Erza is so much more than that.

Erza does the same for Lucy but in the opposite way. You will not survive calling Lucy weak in her presence. Lucy is way more than just a pretty face

If one of them is mad at someone (specifically Natsu or Gray) so is the other. No questions asked. Lucy walks in saying she's gonna kill Natsu, Erza already has her sword out.

They fully view the other as a sister. Lucy in particular, sees Erza as an older sister and has a lot of respect for her as such.

I can only imagine the brawl that would ensue. As Gray and Erza fight about who gets to do it from the day the engagement is announced. I feel like Natsu would want Gray as his best man tho so Gray might lose this battle. (not that Gray has won many fights against Erza anyway)

Also I have a counter headcanon: Aquarius walks her down the aisle. How does a mermaid walk? idk don't think about it too hard lol

(imagine her and Erza fighting for the honor so then they both have to walk Lucy while giving each other killer side eye)
