“Kick me out, I don't mind.”
@erudite-rebel ❤️ for a short lyric starter
“When I'm like this, you're the one I trust.”
@erudite-rebel gets a Velvet starter
Velvet stayed in her chair long after everyone started getting up to leave, just to make sure she didn’t cross paths with Cardin as they were exiting. She knew if she did, he’d end up ‘accidentally’ tripping her or something else equally horrible. When almost everyone, especially Cardin, was gone, she got up and hurried down to the table at the front. “Doctor Oobleck!” She called. “I was wondering if you had time to talk? I have a question about the assignment.”

Neither doubted that Bartholomew would have plans for his actual birthday, and while Ozpin already, technically, had a gift...he couldn’t stop the surge of delight when Ozma had- hesitantly- suggested his plan.
They waited until the final bell had sounded on the last class day before the date. Entering about ten minutes later- being sure that any students would be able to ask questions and clear out first- Ozpin closed the door and locked it before making his way to the board.
He nodded once in greeting, before lifting a piece of chalk and beginning to draw a familiar lamp. It was...tricky in two dimension, and this was hardly his favored style. Yet, he got it well enough, before he turned to face his colleague with a flash of gold in his eyes, and a willing release of control to the immortal.
“You have three questions.”
@erudite-rebel liked for a starter
“ You heard the broadcast right, Oobleck? Atlas and Mantle are in danger.” Glynda returned from the Shopkeep’s dust store after hearing the broadcast and went to meet her fellow professors. She stood in the former headmaster’s office, gazing into horizon. “ I don’t know whether I should head to Atlas to help or keep guarding the relic here..”

“You have that look in your eye. That ‘I’m going to give Mercury Black Detention” Look, and I do not care for it,”
“So, I hear you have a speed semblance, too.”
“Want to race?”
