Aziraphale stopped in his tracks. He was so happy to see Crowley alive and well. Until just now, the Angel thought he might never see him again, that Crowley would never talk to him again. But here he was. Aziraphale wanted to explain what happened- but was it the time for this?

So much was going on in his head, he didn't even realise when his tears started falling. One big step towards the demon, the urge to hold him of being held. But he stopped abruptly. What if he didn't want to be near him anymo-

The Angel had no chance to finish his thoughts. Crowley did two big steps towards Aziraphale to embrace his Angel.

All they could do, was absorbing each others Warmth.

"I'm sorry! I'm so sorry for being so stupid." Aziraphale sobbed uncontrollably.

"No, Angel.", Crowleys voice broke. "You just wanted to help."

I just realised how much I want them to just touch... Please hug each other! I need this! YOU need this! I want this even more than a kiss! Or give me both!!

I think I'm gonna barf...

Tell me why the German translation for Aziraphale is Erziraphael and why that sounds so funny

In general, I've just noticed the differences between German and English good omens.

Like, what are those voices?? Erziraphael saying okay during thenflaming sword scene????

I got the Crowley-Edition🥰🖤

First in german, now in English, because nothing is better than the original...

Of course "Erziraphael" had been a shock to me first, after looking the show in english, but after a while my head simply ignored it and kept reading Aziraphale...

And I truly must say, I love the translation by Andreas Brandhorst, mostly because of the "Verdammter Mist-Bibel"-episode on p. 59, 60. And footnote No. 26... Every time a read this in my first language it is totally killing me and I can't stop laughing 🤣🤣🤣🤣...so loud, Terry must hear me! Honestly, I am bursting!😂🤣 Don't know, which button gets pressed there...

And for making the "german" Shadwell sound like Winfried Kretschmann..."Wie fiele Bruschtwarzen habescht du?"🤣🤣🤣 This mixture between schwäbisch und mittelhochdeutsch is brilliant, because Shadwells accents is already so weird in the original book...luckily we also got many weird accents...

But of course, nothing is better than the original, because just "ineffable" is much more hitting me these days than "unerfindlich", just because I will always hear Michael Sheens voice saying this word...😌 No translation can change that.
