There is a German dub for Yuri on ice since FEBRUARY???? Also Yuri on ice has got to be ragebaiting us, why do I hear rumours of it coming back???

Just watched the original trailer for “Project Hail Mary” and it’s so funny to me that I enjoy Eva talking in English, but found her German voice to be so awkward/bad 😂 Like… that woman voiced herself in German!! Why does she talk/sound nothing like in the English movie?!

Actually so thankful that the German dub of OPLA kept Zoro's German name "Lorenor Zorro". It rolls so much better off the tongue and I can actually pronounce it without having the written word in front of me to check or saying it really, really carefully.

So the german dub trailer of witch hat atelier came out! And I gotta say, every voice sounds great! Love that the voice actress of Coco is also the voice actress of someone in Little Witch Academy. The only thing I need to get used to is Qifreys voice in german, I jst imagined it a bit deeper then it was chosen to be. But aside from that the rest was great! Also they pronounced Qifreys name Key-frey no idea if that's the right way but yea.

Something I like about this is you can see "spezifischen" already looks like "Spezi-Fische" so this is actually a pun that my English speaking brain almost didn't notice beyond "lol cute".

The German dub is great because sometimes the captions are funnier, and sometimes they add to the experience. Bubble was first about to say

"Wie könnten sie dich hassen, man kann dich doch nur lieben!"

(How can they hate you? One can only love you!)

But at the exact moment that they glitch the captions chance to instead say

"Wie könnten sie dich hassen, man kann dich doch nur hassen, man"

(How can they hate you? One can only hate you!)

And I like that visual a lot, it's one thing to audibly hear the glitch, and it's another to visibly read it. And i've checked, the original English captions don't offer this, it's unique to the German dub
