Some words on this. It is clearly more fitting for my RPG-Alternate-UIniverse-Band-Member-Ash (I mentioned him before). Nonetheless the song has a very fitting, almost bittersweet tone to it (it’s about longing for the - lost - homeland, which in this case can be interpreted as carefree childhood days), so I think I will even be able to make an AMV to it, if Mappa don’t cut out the calmer scenes. Plus, it is one of my favourite ESC-Songs of all time ^^
This Translation is not by me (mostly because my French is really bad ^^),but taken from this site.
It may not be America But America isn't everything I've got music in my heart And this music means a lot to me It comes from the depths of my memories, Even before we were born It tells us our story Our roots and our past
If the universe is stormy If the earth is shaking underneath our feet We'll go on with our journey So that it will never stop singing
