Welcome to Compound Eleven. Where your status depends on the floor you were born. The rulers of this world you may ask? They are the Preeminate or Preme for short, they are the families that founded the compound and they are monsters. Eve comes from floor two, and there they fight. This is the life she knows. You fight to survive, to be happy, to be free. At least, that is what Eve fights for. Her freedom. She is done with life in Eleven. Her father taught her to fight, and fight she will. But this with this upcoming fight, Eve knows this will not be like the others. He is a Preme and from this day forward her life has changed. We see Eve going from caring too much to not caring at all (not exactly my cup of tea). She has 3 best friends. Hunter, Maggie, and Emerald. I wish we saw more of Maggie and Emerald. That being said the bits we saw of them, I loved. Hunter, ugh. He, I… honestly, what can be said? Eve cannot shake that something is different with Wren and so down the rabbit hole she goes. The way their relationship begins to come together at a good pace. I do so wish that Eve opened up more in different matters and I love that Wren calls her out for it too. His selflessness. I just 🥺 The plot in the book is a big cycle until the end. There is so much potential here and I am so ready for it. ❄️ |Tags| #EscapingEleven #entangledteen #jerrichisholm #yadystopian #bookreviews #newrelease #2020release #yascifi #booklove #debutnovel #alwaysreading https://www.instagram.com/p/CJEZj2pAm9H/?igshid=n000lxvy7op4
