Just finished watching Venture Bros. You know I had to do it to em.

This does mean that Monarch and Dermott are also Santornans, yes. I think that's funny and good for both of them.

Rusty would have snipped the boys' tails himself after hatching them. The implications on the clones are hilarious. Does he cut them all himself to conform to Santornan masculinity guidelines or does he just let them look like girls sometimes?

Dean Dawn definitely has an awakening when she realizes she has a tail....

I think in this setting cloning is much less taboo but he's still hiding it because of the regulations.

Instead of his wearable womb thing, he just handles the eggs like normal, but I think he'd keep them in an incubator in his lab instead of in the house. At least until they hatched

If I had even one single braincell I would have made Brock's horns V shaped but. Here we are.

He does shave the fur off his tail but not off his feet because it makes his footfalls quieter. He can take off his shoes and go stealth mode.

I think Sargent Hatred / Uncle Vatred would be a washed up old Atraxan whose feathers are falling out. I didn't draw him because I hate him <33

Class: Knight

The Knight is a warrior, a fierce protector, and a person of honor. Unlike other fighting-based classes, Knights fight for a specific person or cause, and are generally willing to dedicate their entire lives to it. They spend their lives honing their skills and are often wanderers, always in search of new ways to best perform their duties. Knights are known to be steadfast, honorable, and strong-willed; on a team, they are very supportive of others.

Knights gain +1 Body and +1 Heart. They also gain bonuses when protecting others in battle.

Rainbow Dash — Eshenali Bodyguard

The first obvious reason that I chose to make RD Eshenali is because flying is a big deal to her, and she needs to still be able to fly. Secondly, I think she'd love being a massive fire breathing dragon, and I think she'd take the most advantage of being muscular and large. I don't think she'd enjoy living on Eshenal, but she'd do well on another, less icy planet.

I also wanted to note that, as the representation of Loyalty, it makes the most sense for RD to be Eshenali. Loyalty is probably the main virtue in their culture, and remaining loyal to friends and family is expected, so thematically it made sense for her too.

I chose Bodyguard for her class because I think she'd want to use her strength and speed to help and protect her friends; she could get physical, but only if her friends need her to, and her connection to them is very important. Kind of a "if you want to get to my friends, you've gotta get through me" scenario.

Laios: Eshenali Knight

I obviously wanted Laios and Falin to be "dragons," but it was hard to decide what color scales to give Laios (Falin, who I'll draw later, is of course red and fluffy). I settled on white with golden eyes, lol. He has more futuristic power armor here and carries a light sword inhabited by a strange alien creature. I also want to say he cuts/shaves the fur off his tail and feet for Personal Reasons. In Other Skies, he's obsessed with alien beasts in lieu of monsters.

Senshi: Zair Survivor

Senshi is already perfectly suited for the survivor class, and it made sense to translate him to a hairy and magnanimous Zair with black fur and brown markings. He lived out in the dangerous wilderness of Palazair before meeting his current party, and makes sure to always have some grub around to keep people's psyche up. Think of how fast one could cook with four hands!

Marcille: Sucralite Psion

I had a hard time deciding what species to translate Marcille into, but I think the glamorous and androgynous Sucralites are the best analog to elves that I can think of. Other Skies!Marcille might have a more Sucralite name ("Ambrosia" might actually be a good one), or they might choose to present as feminine while traveling. Her staff has been translated to a high-tech device that can connect to her thoughts and amplify her psychic power, thus making her attacks stronger.

Chilchuck: Santornan Assassin

I chose the "assassin" class for Chilchuck because it's the one with the most lockpicking and sneaking related moves and skills; the name implies that killing is the end result, but it doesn't have to be. He's of course a Santornan because of their small stature and "cute" faces. He has a closed piercing hole where his wedding earring once was. As a side note, I considered changing his color palette to blues and pinks to match Santornan aesthetics, but I wanted the design to be recognizable so I didn't. Maybe another time!

In the future I also want to draw Falin, Kabru, Izutsumi, and perhaps Thistle.... We shall see.

Eshenali Miku!

While Eshenali themselves are iconic enough, Eshenali Miku also needs to convey an important part of Eshenal: its climate. While Laranth is hot and Lunestria is mainly underwater, Eshenal is covered (in most places) by ice and snow. This isn't much bother to the Eshenali, whose bodies are adapted to the conditions and who have structured their lives around it, but is often notable to observing species, and was thus referenced in the final outfit in the form of fur-lined clothing and sturdy boots.

Despite the dazzling range of scale colors and horn shapes available to Eshenali, their clothing can often be considered understated and practical, meaning not too many extra accessories were included. However, the flowing fabric adorning her skirt does hearken back to popular trends in Eshenali clothing, preferring long, flowing, colorful clothing over their warmer undergarments.

Since most of this Miku's body is bright blue like her signature twintails, her outfit lacks much of that accent. She wears sensible black gloves to give her hands contrast against her body (and as another reference to the cold weather), and she decorates her horns with music notes and blue crystals, which are associated with music on Eshenal. Her design doesn't go out of its way to fictionalize itself, as this is much less common on Eshenal, but elements like her wings and horns still give her that "Twintails" vibe.
