This is Flanagan and Yvonne.

Flan is a level 1 artificer who works at @clitemneste's shipping company in Waterlane. Yvie is a level 1 wizard who works under Shěn Yêlan (the owlin book binder). They live in The Holes and are ✨️roommates✨️ ... they have a white cat (well Flan has a cat) named Leche.

Anyway,

Snell checks up on him sometimes and all Flan ever does is talk shit (poorly) (Cain instinct and all that)

A goblin raised among the Urthfolks. A goblin or a half-goblin or a something new?

Ley-Ley's baby goblins! [Info about Ley, my OC here] From her Urthfolk husband. No name yet, but they're ready to show up!

The goblin twins grew up with their mom, away from the rest of the tribe. That’s not a great start, and since they’re goblins living in central Norvik, making friends hasn’t been easy. Ugh, their whole social life is basically just Mom, Dad, Uncle Snell (and he shows up super rarely), plus a ton of babysitters.

On the bright side, Mom and Dad are rich! On the not‑so‑bright side, they’re always busy working.

So the twins spend most of their time reading books and playing tricks — which isn’t a bad way to pass the time when you’re stuck at home. And hey, they’re actually really well‑mannered goblins. Just look at them!

The key is not to ask Snell's opinion.

It’s really hard to write about kids without sounding like I’m only showing one side of the story. I didn’t make Behold cards because I think kids don’t really have clear traits until they get a bit older. But if I had to pick a main stat for them, both would be Wisdom. For their second high stat, the girl would be INT and the boy would be DEX. The girl’s more curious and outgoing, and the boy’s more active and good at figuring things out. So if these two are full of energy, taking care of them is no easy job!

Outside the AU (it’s kind of here, but not really @ay-its-bzzare. Ragn used to work full‑time as a babysitter — it was a pretty interesting gig) he just helped Ley‑Ley on his days off, being a good citizen. Ley‑Ley paid him fair wages (unlike Snell, who didn’t get a single coin). It was basically like a little side quest.

The kids are great and super well‑behaved. Ley made it her mission to put a lot into their education. The girl has an amazing memory and already loves reading simple but cool books — she’s into encyclopedias, even though they’re too hard for her to read all the way through. The boy isn’t as far along as his sister when it comes to book smarts, but he’s always making up stories for their games and asking her to tell him neat facts. He’s also a way better drawer than her, even though he really doesn’t like learning how to draw. So his free‑time options are kind of limited, sigh.

Most importantly, the kids are friendly and full of cheer! Now we just need to find a way for them to hang out with other kids... with someone...

Thats right! He can stalk you! He can insult you! He'll can berate you! But! He can also, give you EXACTLY what you need to get out of an extra sticky situation—all for what amounts as pocket change. Amazing, right?

So, if you can bear to stand his disrespect and not flinch at his appearance, he can be a great source of cursed items any cultish mage would slobber over. All you need is some crowns and a few kind words, and maybe, just maybe, you'll win him over.

Just make sure not to ask about his past. Even abberant-like beings can be sensitive too!

🐘 Left for dead after a battle, gets picked up by a group of wandering druids who eventually settle in the mountains

🐘 Loves: looking out for people, pranks | Hates: Golden Horde, Hold Person(where did that come from?)

🐘 He sadly was eventually found and had to flee to wander Askanii as he tried to figure out a way to not be recaptured

🐘 Attempts to bring him back over the years has caused him to learn how to wildshape into a human

🐘 Travels around Askanii for a while before he eventually makes it to Norvik, where he worked at the now closed mill in Tolstad before meeting Nirina and working for her at the docks. Talks at the local druidic meetings about the goings on in Waterlane

🐘 In his off hours, he likes cooking and giving food to friends. He is currently learning to read and write Dominioran fluently. Wants to enjoy simple things in life.

Esoteric Ebb OC - Nirina Eos

She/her/hers or they/theirs/them

She owns a shipping company named 'Scylla Shipping Co.' down on Waterlane, which has been open for about eight years.

Employs a lot of odd people and stranglers.

She smokes a water dragon pipe. She can hardly be seen without it somewhere on her person.

Has an exclusive shipping deal in Tolstad of shipping/exporting access to Middle Edge cities and islands.

Doesn't really have any family or personal connections outside of business affiliates.

Has a weird pet peeve of being called a 'mermaid'. only refers to herself as a merperson or merfolk.

she has several spots where her fins are scarred/destroyed/torn. (I just forget to include them when drawing her)

weirdly tolerant of Ragn's stupid questions about merfolk

She's good with her hands and has lean muscle from years of shipfaring.

Not very political, but she leans Azgalist.

Bitter about the Askanii-Reeds trading company taking her business and agent viira offering to buy her company from her.

She's relaxed most of the time, but it is mostly like a person who is trying to be relaxed instead of actually being it. (She keeps a watchful eye and never stands with her back to an exit.)

Scylla Shipping Co is well known for never having any cargo stolen or damaged by pirates...for reasons.

She doesn't ship contraband but used to smuggle immigrants to norvik at one time.

Deals with Visken's annoying shipments of mosquito sand and bizarre items he requests.

She doesn't have a partner, but if she did, I imagine she'd be a lovergirl behind closed doors.
