Someone has a crush on a certain bard at the Drunken Sphinx Tavern ๐
I have very little lore about her at the moment and I am not yet sure if she is an open-hand monk, a fighter, or a pugilist class. But the most important thing is that she wants to kiss Nearly sooo baddddddddd

Maev lives in South Tolstad in the Lady's Apartments, not too far from The Holes from where she was born and raised. After years of saving up money from grueling success in underground fighting rings, Maev started looking for more legal work to help pay rent for her one bedroom apartment and put the past behind her. She landed a job at The Drunken Sphinx Tavern as a bouncer, where she learns that her long-standing crush performs the most hauntingly beautiful musical numbers on the acoustic guitar: Nearly.
But her name proceeds her though as word travels fast about the infamous Manglerย Maev (or Maev Mangerย orย Maev THE Mangler, depending on who you ask) retiring to go legit had reached the ears of a certain Lady Sageleaf of the HWBT, who offered her an open invitation to work under her (with a signifigant pay raise).
Will Maev ever accept Sageleaf's offer and give up her nightly shifts ogling at Nearly? Or will she settle being stuck in a world of unrequited love and yearning?

FUN FACTS!
- Her fighting style is mostly a Muay Thai and Capoeira mashup
- She is a reserved big sister type who will protect her younger peers and escort them places if they don't feel safe going somewhere
- She has always looked up to her Tribe Elders, especially Mama K.
- She is an orphan with no biological siblings that she knows of but never grew up truly alone.
- Having an apartment all to herself is a new thing for her as she is used to communal living. She is relieved to have a space of her own (but can never stay too far away from the rest of the Halfways)!
- She did not come up with her underground name herself, some other person (a fighting ring emcee maybe lmao) just came up with it on the spot when she got too successful to not have a "cool title".
- Maev was apparently the name of her grandmother, with a different spelling. During the height of the Goblin Cultural Revivification movement (some times in 28 PE or later), Maev changes her name spelling to Meabh and takes on the Creagthonn surname.

Yvonne is based off on the Palawan Peacock-Pheasant, which is a species endemic to The Philippines and is listed as a Vulnerable species by the International Union for Conservation of Nature.
... Also, a friend saw one at the Oregon Zoo and jokingly mentioned that they found my next bird OC. Lowkey inevitable. LMAO.

I wanted to honor Goblin culture as it is written in the world of Esoteric Ebb, which is why I went with an Irish name. There were a few possible spelling I was deliberating on but Flanagan stuck.
The cat's name obviously had to be Leche because Flan isnt enough of a Filipino shout out without having Leche Flan in there somewhere!!!!!!

Flan is a level 1 artificer who works at @clitemneste's shipping company in Waterlane. Yvie is a level 1 wizard who works under Shฤn Yรชlan (the owlin book binder). They live in The Holes and are โจ๏ธroommatesโจ๏ธ ... they have a white cat (well Flan has a cat) named Leche.
Anyway,
Snell checks up on him sometimes and all Flan ever does is talk shit (poorly) (Cain instinct and all that)
