Has anyone thought about

How much Marinette is more likely to be akumatized rather than Adrien?

Like I know it's been stated that it's very unlikely since Mari has a lot of positivism and Adrien is too used to the negativism in his life for them to succumb to the whispers of a butterfly but

Positivity is not something permanent nor as lasting as negativity, as cruel as it sounds

It would take a lot of frustrations and failures and mistakes for Marinette to feel down but it COULD happen, a single event could very well make her snap

Now think about that while we move onto Adrien

Adrien lives a rough life despite all the luxuries he has

His mother is nowhere to be seen (dead or just disappeared no one knows for sure), he has a complicated relationship with his father and his schedule is constricting for most of his life

Tbh I think the only reason he hasn't snapped is because he gets to be free as Chat Noir and basks in the presence of Ladybug who is just brimming with happiness

And I think it's a good thing

Because do you realize how powerful of an akuma he is going to be if it happens?

I have this theory that because the canon akumas only appeared because of a single down moment (Alya being accused of something she didn't do, Alix seeing her broken family heirloom, Chloe not being trusted by her idol, etc), they're only as powerful as their emotions are at the time of akumatization

They were pretty okay before that one moment

So then imagine if Adrien, whose negativity he had been supressing for most of his life, becomes an akuma (Chat Blanc or whatever his akuma name would be)

His powers of destruction, Cataclysm, would be stronger than before, combining the black cat miraculous' power and Hawkmoth's borrowed power

What a cat-astrophe, as Chat would say
