In case anyone wants to know why I support Biden, it’s because American elections are a bullshit system where two organizations choose their champion and the two champions hold a popularity contest with like a third of the country — because the country’s “popularity contest” filters out the other two thirds such that it’s practically impossible for them to affect the result regardless of their majority status — and whichever champion wins the contest gets to go straight to the top of the govt regardless of existing merits or competition for literally anyone else.

If Biden doesn’t get elected, trump will. This is not in question, this is not a joke, this is honest to god what’s happening. This is the deal. Any defamation of Biden at this time is helping trump get elected. I hate it, I would love to be critical of Biden, but I literally cannot do that until after trump is gone.

If you want me to not support Biden, don’t tell me he’s shitty. I know he’s shitty. He’s still the only option that is a) relatively competent and b) not going to be promoting people who — oh, you didn’t know this?
