I love Batman and Bat Family dynamics and Bat Family aesthetics and Bat Family Moral codes, but I can't take them seriously because what do you mean they are the most powerful beings in Gotham, as its civies and as its heroes, and their city is still shit?
Most of Batman's villains are driven by societal problems, something that a multi-billionaire with many foundations could fix.
Politicians still have the audacity to be corrupt. Like, didn't one of them kids an expert tracker/hacker? Surely, they know how to track public funds. Why aren't they scared of stealing?
And crime alley? People still commit crimes in crime alley? Where Nightwing frequents? Sometimes even Jason fucking Todd who uses an AK-47? The alley where little Robins are trained for patrol? If I were a criminal, that will be the specific alley I would avoid. That would be the safest alley in Bludhaven.
Somebody, please explain this to me. I'm new in this fandom, haven't read a single volume. Are Gothamites not taking the costumed-freak club-seriously?
