I rediscovered the importance of listening to yourself this week. For me, being organised, studying how I want and doing chores when I have energy (so I don’t have to force them later) has been most helpful. I even found that a touch of pessimism lowered the pressure and made things easier.

I am working to finish my NCTJ by the end of the year. Shorthand might prove a stumbling block, but my aptitude for cramming information into my brain and regurgitating it in exam rooms means that I can probably manage the other two modules by Christmas.
