3x3 at 207.5kg today. So watching these back,it's pretty obvious I'm going to get lit up by the red light depth brigade on my first reps for each set. Stoked to see the recovery on each following rep for all three sets. These were followed up with SSB paused squats, RDL's and split squats superset with AMRAP GHR's. Today was physically and emotionally difficult, lifting through the peak of today's heat and a bunch of Personal issues playing out throughout this session. Getting the job done to hit my numbers I ran my trusted @nexussportsnutrition #Detonation-X with #crea-gene as a preworkout adding in a dose of Taurine (to help with some back spasms I've been experiencing during heavy legs or dead sessions) and a scoop of pure carbs for extra energy. Last sets from deads tonight. 3x4 conventional deadlift at 247.5kg followed up with 3x4 axle deads at 267.5kg To be honest, the last two days have been very rough personally, leaving me down, not overly motivated and feeling pretty numb. Teeing up a session with @strongman.masoncraig was the perfect kick in the ass. This place helps me. Anything I've got going on outside of the gym, I can put it away for the 2-3 hours and pour every bit of my focus and energy into hitting my program. This block is brutal, but the strength is there and for once,my body seems to be responding. I couldn't do this without the awesome supporting have at home from @bigbirdstrongwoman . You are a rock, my rock baby and I love you because of that! Final sets from yesterday's leg assault. 200kg 3x4 low bar, 120kg 4x6 paused SSB. Followed these with 1880kg 3x8 RDL's, Split Squats and GHR's. Add in 31°c and fan cooling only = dead! Just a small insight to my evening at @hunterstrengthandperformance with day 1 week 1 of my Tamworth prep. 1st set and 4th set of SSB Squats working on back st as ability, after a brutal 3x5 @ 187.5kg low bar squats. After seeing the results from the team of powerlifters in this gym recently, I've asked @hunterstrengthcoach to program me for this prep.
