Hey everyone!! Welcome back!! It’s that time of year: I am free from school for the summer, which means it’s finally time for updates again! Here’s the basic plan:

I want to do at least one ask a week until September! No specific day, and if I can do more than one a week, great! But I’m working on a ton of other stuff this summer, and I have a con coming up in like a week, so I’m trying to keep things simple. I’m not anticipating any big plot posts for a bit, but if there is one that causes a delay, I’ll let you know.

Erik has been helping tremendously by providing a bunch of backgrounds for Charles’ house, so as always, please give him some love for all he does, he is one of the sole reasons things keep moving around here! Backgrounds are like my kryptonite, his help has been essential to this comic—-

Final bit of news, we’re tying up the last few loose ends with the plot! Act 4 has had a couple gaps in its framework for a few years now, being the big connecting point leading into the finale, but I do believe the general progression (sans influence from you askers) has been ironed out! Meaning the only thing left to do is to get there!

Thank you all as always for sticking around! We just recently hit 7000 followers on the blog, and I am eternally grateful to each and every one of you for reading! It brings me so much joy to see how much you all have been enjoying it, how it’s influenced you over the years, and I cannot thank you enough! This is one hell of a story we’re telling together, I hope you all like what we’ve been cooking up!!

Question for Mod Mello. Henry has previously said he doesn’t know anything about his parents, but is there any actual lore about them? Are they deadbeats? Did they die? I’ve had this question for a while now so I thought I’d ask.

Yes, they do have lore! But elaborating any further would be spoilers, dear asker~ You’ll just have to wait a bit longer to learn about them :)

I noticed you haven’t really been active on this account anymore though, just wanna check in and ask how you’ve been doing :D

Hello, thank you for checking in on me! (Same goes for the dozen or so other asks I got checking in!! ❤️) I’ve been doing alright! EtC is just on the backburner again as I navigate college. Regular occurrence these past 3 years, don’t worry. This blog is still active, and I have every intention of getting back to it once school lets up!

Unfortunately, that may not be until the semester is over. I’m in my last semester of actual classes before my final year, so I really have to lock in. I’m still semi-active on my art blog if you want to see what else I’ve been up to in the meantime, though! @melonsalts I’ve been doing a Deltarune-related art prompt challenge this past month, if the Mikes interest anyone :)

Thanks again for checking in, everyone! I’ll try to be more frequent with touching base with you all, I hadn’t realized I basically fell off the face of the earth last July and haven’t updated since 😅

I’m back!! Another year of college is done, and I am now on summer break! Which means I can finally get back to drawing some sticks!!

Here’s the plan, gang:

I’d like to try doing regular posts again for the duration of the summer. Not daily, that was too much, but weekly. As always, big updates will require more time to put together, and once September rolls around, it’s back to work with school. During school season, I may switch to monthly updates, but we’ll see, it all depends on my work load. I’m going into the third year of my degree this year, so I may get swamped again.

So, look forward to new posts in the near future! :)

Soooo, heads up, I’m still absolutely wiped from Christmas this year. Asks are coming along, but it’s really slow going because I’m so tired, and I need a break. I want to still get a few more asks in before the 7th, but I think I need to cut the daily posting thing short. Glad I tried it, but I’m having trouble keeping up. There’s still other things I need to get done before school starts up again, unfortunately ^^;

(ooc) HELL YEA ETC IS BACKKKKKKKK 🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣 this blog was literally foundational to my identity, it was the first thing to introduce me to the concept of queerness outside of blind homophobia and the representation of both a- and bisexuality as well as non-binary characters eventually lead me to discovering I was all of those things! The artstyle was also a huge influence on mine and arguably the thing that got me into drawing and character design :) I wouldn’t be the person I am today without this comic and I’m so glad you’re still making it <3 can’t wait to see what happens next :D! Hey Mxs.(I think that's what you liked to go by, sorry of not) Mello, I just wanted to ask, you are ok, right? I don't know you too much but you have not gone two months without posting I don't think, not even just personal asks. I assume you are working on the next panels and stuff but I just want to make sure you are still here and ok.

Yes, don’t worry, I’m doing just fine :) August was hectic, as it is every year, and I recently started college! So I’ve been very busy ^^; We have made some good progress on panels recently, though! Sketches are just about done, so I’ll be able to get to lining and coloring once I get some free time. Working on my passion project sounds like a nice break.

College has been a lot of busywork, but I’ve been absolutely thriving :) I’ve always loved learning, and being in school again has been so liberating. After being pretty much stuck at home for 3 years, due to the current state of the world screwing me over, (thanks 2020,) then mental health issues on top of that, (namely depression,) it’s just. So nice to be up and about again. I honestly think the only reason I’ve survived these past 3 excruciating years has been because of this comic, and you, the wonderful community, who found worth in me and this silly ask blog I made to tide over my boredom. So thank you, sincerely. I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for us!
