Ethan...
The rest of L.J. Hayward’s Death and the Devil series finally came out in audio - the perfect accompaniment to drawing some chibi badasses.
The audiobooks turned out nice - same narrator as for book 1, which came out several years ago. I’m really enjoying revisiting these characters, especially Ethan - I’ve got a weakness for that kuudere vibe he has going on ^_^
“Here’s a suggestion, though. This time, when you aim a gun at me, make sure you mean to kill me.”
I've joked about Ethan Blade and his Tactical Assault Camel but I cannot emphasize enough how much i am also not joking
Found an awesome action pack Spy/Agent x Assasin BL book.
It was a wild ride with mind games and angst. It really leaves you at the edge of your seat.
The book is mostly Jack's pov, it isnt until later in the series where Jacks and ethan's pov takes turn plus Ethan has his on short story where its just his pov in book 2 (which is book 2.5).
The main books 1,2 and 3 followed the usual Then and Now story line (except for book 3 that still incorporate that style but also change pov)
So it was nice to see Ethan's side in 2.5
Plus seeing Jack not only fell first but HARD is always fun lol
Also, Not me who imagine Ethan as Tom Hiddleston (specifically Loki) 💀.
If this ever became a movie or series i know who my first pick is aha.
And right after i finished this book i found out theres an interactive game called MAYBE and theres like an episode of this book??
I dont play the game so i have no idea how this works. So take this info however you like.
(Book according to order)
You're just a weaponist, Jack." Jack stifled a snicker. "A weaponist?" "Like a racist but against certain weapons." "And you never met a weapon you didn't like." "A couple actually, but that was more personality differences." "Hah! No. You're just a weapon slut. There's a difference. I'm a weapon monogamist." He considered that, then added, "Well, maybe a very limited polygamist." "You haven't returned my Desert Eagle," Blade noted dryly. "It's lonely out here and I'm a man with needs.
Where Death Meets the Devil L.J Hayward
rough portrait of Ethan Blade (at least what he looks like in my imagination) from the Death and the Devil series by L.J. Hayward
One of my new fav characters <3
Read the books! It’s like Shadow of the Templar meets In the Company of Shadows
