Honestly really missing the dream suite. There's a lot of my island I'm starting to be really happy with, and I just have no real good way of sharing it. Sure pictures, but a lot of areas work way better on walk-through than in limited space photos. I'd love for us all to be able to properly experience each others islands again.

Current Predictions for AC New Horizons

(Based on current info as of 03/16/20)

So I've got a few predictions about still unanswered questions, and missing features I thought I'd throw up here. Let's see if they come true in the coming year. 🙃

🍀 Art will be introduced later in the game, possibly in the form of a Crazy Redd update. It will take up the top floor of the museum.

🍀 Diving will be added in a summer event, alongside a bunch of diving fishy creatures.

🍀 Gyroids will come with a Halloween update. This would be a long time to go without them, but it makes the most sense by far to me, and I can't imagine they'd be removed from the game entirely when they're such an iconic series staple.

🍀 Brewster is already in the game, just way more late game than the 3 weeks we've seen.

🍀 I personally don't think we'll be getting a dream suite replacement, as much as that is kind of heartbreaking.

🍀 I believe holidays, at least for the first few years, will likely be slightly different every year. This will be incredibly fun, though it does raise concerns for anyone who couldn't get the game upon release.

🍀 Overall I think that pocket camp was a trial run for frequent updates adding content. I believe New Horizons will be getting updates fairly frequently adding new things. I'm not sure how I feel about it tbh, even with them being free.

🗡 I stg if I pay some fokin 60 gd dollars and nintendo releases a paid dlc within the year I'm gonna McFokin lose it.

Imma need all of y'all to stop complaining about the length of the Easter event.

If we complain too much Nintendo may never give us such a long event again, and, just, hear me out.

I would like to clarify that any time I call a part of my island "complete" I do not mean "I am done with this forever and it has reached its final form." What I mean is "I've spent hours/days trying to get this a certain way and finally feel basically satisfied for the moment, but will still probably change it again in, like, a week."

In very wholesome and cute news my toddler likes watching me play AC, and every time I talk to Butch he has to point to him and say "That's daddy." Then point to my husband and very seriously tell him "that's you daddy."

It's actually adorable and hilarious.

Keeping it real I do not understand people who will seriously argue "You should love and choose villagers for their PERSONALITY and HOW WELL YOU GET ALONG WITH THEM, not their APPEARANCE."

Like, due to just rng sometimes you'll end up with kind of funny "backstories" for specific villagers, but realistically there are... 8 identical personalities. Each with 2 subtypes that change next to nothing. Appearance is kind of the ONLY really true unique feature villagers have.

Yeah I tend to develop little headcanons for my villagers but realistically Purrl, Olivia, and Vivian are completely identical outside of appearance. 🤷‍♂️ Same with Bearold and Bob. People are gonna go with Bob because Bearold is visually repugnant and Bob is a cute little purple stoner cat.

I guess long rant short y'all need to realuze that loving people for what's on the inside doesn't work as well in a game with really incredibly repetative coding lol.

I had a complete moment of madness today and rearranged half my island. Honestly really happy with how it came out. It isn't insanely different, but just moving stuff around opened so much room up, and I can now create an orchard more in line with what I had originally imagined. :)
