Big Tech has used its power to control the field of AI ethics and avoid accountability. Now, the ouster of Timnit Gebru is putting the movement for equitable tech in the spotlight.

When it comes to bias and using corporate power to retaliate their own internal staff who blew the whistle, Google is just another big corporate bully.

If Timnit Gebru wasn’t a minority female, she and her colleague probably wouldn’t be fired instantly. The corporate world is very muscular dominative, and the big tech companies are among the most male dominative super elitism industry at the end of the day.  When an employee touched the ‘red line’ of the corporate interests, the corporate giant’s intimidating  feet stepped on the ‘annoying ant’.

I'm proud to be white but...

I’m also proud to be part of a multicultural society; I’m also proud to be of a generation that embraces differences; I’m also proud to be an immigrant, because all British people are; I’m also proud to welcome all people, of all cultures and religions into my life, without questioning their beliefs.

That is what being proud to be a white British citizen really is. We all have the right to live with more than the basics. Suffering is a horror that the human race brought onto itself.
