So, all my (White, and that’s a whole nother can of worms for another day) liberal friends are sharing this on Facebook, and it’s got my panties somewhat in a twist. Because, duh, of course “white pride” is hatred of other races, because it’s defacto DEFINED that way.

And nice going, covering your ass over accusations of hating “other races”. Is this how you cover Black people being racist against Hispanics and Asians and so on? Because that’s just nasty.

This feels like the same mean-spirited, manipulative BS that I see rightly complained about in memes about how it’s unfair to massively incarcerate Black men and then mock Black children for not having fathers.

Real talk for a sec. I grew up wanting nothing more than to have pale skin, straight, blonde hair and blue eyes, and I don’t anymore. I’m just really glad I’ve accepted myself the way I am. I’m proud of my brown skin and brown eyes and I will never ever ever try to shave my arms or belly again. I don’t make efforts to keep my hair as flat as possible. It’s crazy and frizzy and sticks out weird sometimes and that’s okay. I don’t need to look like everyone else to feel okay about myself.
