meet my muse out by a pond at night
@ethrxalflower
Dusk covered the land when Jack finally returned to the pond. He’d raced against the sun as it drifted down to sleep, unaware of a young boy’s spirited whims. Still, a celebration was in order. Jack took great joy in decorating his pond with frost, laughing so gleefully you’d think he just heard the funniest joke ever told. And he might well call it his pond. It was the only place that really felt like home.
Once satisfied, the boy found a large tree in which to rest and watch the Moon rise. Moonlight was more kind to the frost and snow, and let it gleam brighter than a thousand suns. It was calm, it was peaceful, and Jack was just about dozing off.

x. Send me a 👎 and I’ll tell you a weakness/flaw my muse has. x. Vali is someone who is 100% brutally honest, 100% of the time.
Unfortunately for those who a little more sensitive than he is, he doesn’t feel obligated to spare anyone’s feelings. He may not censor himself well, but he at least waits until the opportunity calls for his brute honesty. But when it does, like someone attempting to intimidate him or put him in a corner, that, unfortunately, means that he’s going to say something that will disarm the other person mentally and knock them off their high-horse. During his time he spends being quiet, he is studying everyone around him and discovering what their true weak spot is so that if the moment calls for it, he can use it as a weapon against them or hurt them. As before, he doesn’t feel obligated to ever spare anyone’s feelings; he doesn’t care who or what you are. If he thinks someones an imbecile, he’s going to point out how big of an imbecile they are. If he thinks they look ridiculous for challenging him, he’s gonna tell them. Honestly, of all the weaknesses, I think this might be Vali’s death. Even in the scariest of enemies, he doesn’t care. He doesn’t have the fear of “if I say this, I might die”. He just doesn’t.

Terra pressed her lips together in a hard line. She was never good at concealing her emotions. Everything from the burning crimson in her cheeks to the way she became unnaturally still gave her away. Even so, Gaara had this freaky sixth sense for when she was concerned about something. She was about to force out a half-hearted “I’m fine!!” ▬ but there was no doubt he’d pick up on her dishonesty quickly.
A heavy sigh. “I don’t know. I’ve just been thinking about me. Where I wanna be y’know? Who I wanna be. It stresses me out thinking about the future. I don’t wanna bore you though.”
Just past midnight on a Tuesday wasn’t the worst time, in an insomniac’s opinion, to board the first-class train into Existential-ville. He shrugged from where he lounged on her couch, one of his feet tucked beneath his seat, the other propped against rim of the coffee table. Asking Gaara for life advice - Gaara, who had flown by the seat of his ripped jeans since high school, who compulsively wore long sleeves to hide the army of red pinpricks marching from inner elbows down toward his wrists - was like taking flying lessons from a mollusk.
He pulled his beanie down low enough to kiss the top of his brow. White steam rose gently from his mug as he blew on it, considering her, though not overly so.
"What do you want to be?"

“Don’t be chicken shit. We’re not goin’ anywhere. Let’s explore this place!” Wade declared. He turned to stop her from leaving, his hand reaching out to hers. But where was the door? He could have sworn it was right there. He looked around.
“Dunno,” he replied to her question, rubbing his chin in confusion. “Didn’t we come in from thisaway?” He pointed at the blank wallpapered wall.
ethrxalflower replied to your photoset:Because I’d gotten some “are you okay” messages....
{ Thank God you’re okay!! That’s scary }
