New ETN Oneshot!

How, why - wha? How am I not dead? I was such an idiot and yet she saved my life?!

Hey there, my little Marbles! Don't worry, I'm still alive, and I come baring gifts! I have a new Escape The Night Season 2 oneshot out! Its called Rejoining Their Ranks and its an AU following what I think might've happened if Jesse was saved instead of DeStorm.

This oneshot's been on my mind for a while now and I had a whale of a time writing it.

New Multi-Chapter: Chapter 1

He didn’t want to live with any more guilt. Plus, the hardened part of him was willing to go against these Promethean men, as much as the human part of him screamed not to. He felt like he was the most capable of the group to face them.

And maybe, if it was him, it wouldn’t be Lauren.

Hey, guys! So I have some big news (which is a day late due to a glitch): Yesterday, I released Chapter 1 of a new fic! Its called Its You I Welcome Death With and it follows an AU of Escape The Night Season 2 where a different death order leads the Steam Machine Challenge in Episode 7 to go a little bit differently.

I really enjoyed writing this fic, and I hope you guys enjoy reading it.

Apologies for the late reply - I did try to send this yesterday, but for some reason, it didn't turn up, so you guys might get another message today when I post Chapter 2 this afternoon.

Being an Escape the Night fan sucks because there isn't much content on the show or my favourite contestant. I might just make content my self lmao.

One of the moments in Escape the Night that really sticks with me is when Tana and Justine are voted into the first challenge during All-Stars, and everyone just kinda goes, "Okay bye Tana, we'll miss you!"

Nobody has any faith in her. They all just wish her well and tell Justine that they'll see her soon.

Joey just goes, "When I see that the two people going in the challenge are Tana and Justine. I'm like, okay, Justine, we'll see you later." And while he did know that Justine was going to die, it still adds a lot of weight to the scene.

Not even Tana herself has faith that she'll win. She just wipes her tears and says, "She's going to beat me." Then Gabbie adds on with, "For sure, but we loved having you here."

Justine isn't some sort of challenge winning God. Heck, she even lost her challenge against Eva, which resulted in Andrea B's (and later also Justine's) death. But pretty much the whole group, INCLUDING TANA, just decides that she's going to die.

Tana was talked down to and not allowed to help the group so much in season 2 that she no longer believes in her own abilities and thinks that she is completely useless.

Anyways fun fact, when Liza died I straight up had to pause the show and take a 30 minute break because she was my favorite and I was in too much shock to finish the episode.

Out of all the monsters and lieutenants on this show, the werewolves are my favorite. Madison from season 1 being a very close second. Full Moon Slaughter is actually one of my favorite episodes of the show in general!

I love the designs of them, I love when werewolves have the design of looking somewhat human to, it adds to them a lot and makes them more scary.

The thing I also love about the werewolves is especially Atticus, due to how tragic of a character he is in general! He's presumably a single father, and his son had just gotten bit. He's terrified and worried for his sons life, having to plead to the guest who are strangers to help him.

He does his best to help his son, even while the full moon is out and the werewolf transformation is coming up. Atticus is just such an amazing character, whose just filled with tragedy. He's a werewolf, his son was but by one, single father, and he just dies at the end! Unable to say goodbye to his kid and watch him grow up.

The werewolves also have one of my favorite challenges, and such a tense feeling chase sequence!

What also makes the werewolves so enjoyable is just how tragic they are and that Atticus has a life out of the werewolf. If there's anything I'd love to see in future seasons, it's lieutenants with tragic backstories like Madison, Atticus, and Cindy. It makes you feel for them, and in a show where you're rooting for your favorites it can add more emotion to the show.

Escape the Night Opinions!!!

This is all for fun, and it doesn't really matter at the end of the day. Please don't tear me or others apart for agreeing or disagreeing. This is all light-hearted and for fun!!!

1. Rosanna honestly piggybacked off Mat and Safiya.

2. Mat should have stayed dead. Jc, Roi, or Manny would have been a much better male survivor.

3. Rosanna was not very enjoyable to me in S3 or S4, I just did not like her character at all. Lovely out of EtN, but in EtN not a fan.

4. Mortimer was the worst helper.

6. Roi deserved better. Hardly anybody acknowledged his sacrifice, hardly anybody called him Roi (his name!), and the dude was literally poisoned and having it eat away at him yet still gave it his all.

7. Matt H's grief was valid, and honestly he deserved better than what he got.

8. s4 DeStorm deserved so much better, and should have made it further.

9. Bretman was great, a nice addition to the show, but shouldn't have been in s4. It was an All Star season, and it felt like he was just there.

10. s4 Colleen did not need to survive.

11. There shouldn't be a revival in s5. Revival is great and all, but it basically grants survival. Even if there was revival and the revived guest died, people would just call it a waste. Also, having revival for a third season in a row seems kinda boring. Revival is fun, and should be sprinkled in once in a while!

12. In my eyes, Jc and Safiya both should have survived, they would have been such an amazing duo. I wish there was more content of them, and just more content of Jc in general.

13. Jc is such a great character. He was funny, useful, and was just a silly little guy. He would have been a great addition to later on, probably would calm the tension, gather everybody back to working together.

14. A bonus episode dedicated to character backstories would have been so cool. Especially Calliope, Alison, SAE members, villains. The small flashbacks they get aren't enough.

15. Season 4 had the best trailer, Season 3 had the best cast, Season 1 had the best Era and outfits, Season 2 had the best villains, Season's 2 and 3 both had the best locations.

16. There should be a season where there are 3 survivors, but Joey isn't one of them. Guest or helper! Not saying Joey should die again, maybe have him like get trapped or something.

17. Eva, Oli, Andrea, and Tyler should come back in a cameo. It'd be really cool to see past survivors and how their lives are now.

18. Let a helper survive! It'd be cool to imagine them like having to go into the modern world!

Anyway, those are all my opinions! Please don't tear me apart!
