small fake-rant abt things that don’t actually matter in any large way, nor negatively impact anything really

absolutely loving the new episodes for amphibia, but one thing is annoying me from what i’ve seen in-fandom; leif plantar and leif eriksson are not pronounced the same yet people keep making the correlation, simply due to the timeline. i get what the creators might’ve been going for but.. one is pronounced “leaf”, the other is “leyf” in pronounciation. one is a funny frog name, and the other is a legit scandinavian pronunciation. like,,,, PLEASE FHDHSHHS WHY IS IT SO HARD FOR YALL TO SIMPLY SEARCH UP ANYTHING ABOUT SCANDINAVIAN STUFF B4 JUMPING TO CONCLUSIONS OR DECIDING HOW OUR PRONUNCIATION WORKS??. i know this is a non-issue but it is bugging me so hard, yet another production issue(don’t get me started on the non realistic viking helmets yet again >:I)
