final thoughts on cheese in the trap (drama)
1. by the end yoo jeong is still taking the same general approach of putting his own feelings, perspective, and personal sense of ‘justice’ (if you could even call it that) above everyone else. seol gets no say about the status of their relationship or whether or not she has a place in his life. seol resigns herself to waiting for him to decide what happens next, the way she has been the entire show. and the whole situation is more about yoo jeong’s own guilt than it is about truly understanding how his vindictive nature/god complex affects everybody around him.
2. sending a creepy classmate after a girl is not something to “leave in the past” once you realize you actually like her, nor is it acceptable retribution for something as small as someone rolling their eyes at you one time. the yoo jeong/seol relationship made me uneasy from the start, but this revelation was the point of no return for me.
3. the scene of eun taek getting in yeon gun’s face on the basketball court to protect bo ra is hot as hell
