Run On (2020), dir. Lee Jae Hoon
I’ll be right next to you.
Please let’s all just rant about characters, not people.
- I’ve never met anyone as good as you. - I’m not a good boy. Grandma, you completely misjudged me.
for everyone who’s approaching Start-up this week, this drama is from the same author of Dream High, I Hear Your Voice, Pinocchio and While You Were Sleeping
I always thought I was lucky to have met you. But for the first time, I’m thinking you should have never met me. Yes, I finally know what it means… I’m sorry.

Was It Love #09
Ok, but seriously, at this point for me I’m sure DH is both the father and the only one AJ loved basically.
And I’m glad it took her half of the drama, but she’s finally following her emotions and doing what she wants to instead of staying still and rejecting everything and everyone. She wants DH? Probably. And now I wanna know even more WHAT happened 14 years ago, like hurry drama, time is ticking.
There’s still the father part to be revealed and I must say I love every HN x DH interaction and I hope we’ll be able to see them as father and daughter, but they both will have to understand why they were separated first.
Then there’s all the chaebol YW plot and his mother and his letter. Of course there’s our investor who loves AJ doppelgänger and DC who now thinks he’s HN brother? Poor RJ must now he’s not a father after all and AR, I’m so sad she’s still immersed in her one sided infatuation for DH. I would love if they could find her a different love interest instead, still hoping they’ll do something more with her.
But the drama keeps introducing new casualties and plot lines, so AJ’s ex boss is now getting ready to come back and ruin our movie production and AJ is still at DH’s door and I know she won’t have the guts to tell the true on Episode 10 and I won’t survive a whole week. Help.

Ae Jung friendzoning everyone
Ae Jung vs Ryu Jin “let’s just end it here”
Ae Jung vs Yeon Woo “I’ve nothing to offer”
and then there’s
Ae Jung vs Dae Ho “please remain dead in my heart”
OK.
Thank you! I thought I was the only one who found Yeon-woo suspect cause I've seen no one else bring up the issues that you've presented. I'll be honest, the moment he decided to move in my alarm bells were on high alert (maybe I was projecting hard though cause I'm all about my home being my safe haven and I'd be fuming if someone moved in without my consent). I'd get it if there was a level of possessiveness if they were former lovers but he was a guy she didn't even recognise at first.
You’re welcome :D I hope I wasn’t too straightforward in my post, but I feel like there’s a difference in the way people tend to judge him especially as compared to a character like Dae Ho. Of course Dae Ho may be petty and sometimes insulting, but you can see he immediately regrets every wrong word he says and he’s very open about his intentions. You know how he is, good or bad, he can’t conceal it. On the counter part Yeon Woo feels almost fake and calculative to me, hiding things from Ae Jung, contracting with his mother even before “getting the girl” and yes, entering her house without even asking or telling her? Moreover I feel like he’s the only one who’s not helping her at all? Of course this is only my opinion and I’m just glad to find a drama that is so investing after awhile! Thank you for sharing your thoughts with me, let’s hope this will stay interesting as it is now :)
❝ Kang Tae is there alone. He’s there all alone! ❞ (don’t repost!)
Mom, I’m totally fine.
About Ae Jung suitors
I can’t believe Yeon Woo is lying about his real identity and background, living at her house, trying to flirt with her at school while being an elementary teacher to the point of being told off by Ae Jung (who’s an actual angel and a single mother who cares so much about giving a good impression) because he’s making her “unconfortable”, punching her ex boyfriend at night and acting all possessive around her, all for the sake of being her old friend who confessed and still being considered cute.
